All good things come to an end, but if I compare the structure of american society with that of canadian or australian society, I find many many downsides. All 3 nations are abundant in natural resources, all are democratic in nature, yet the social care isn't there in the US society as it is in the other two.

In Australia we have free medical for all, a generous social security program and very little crime. In the US they often tout the free gun laws as a cornerstone, but a cornerstone of what, mass murder? Driveby shootings? You can own a long rifle in australia, handguns if you like, but you need to go through a lengthy approval process first. I have two friends with handguns so they are not at all scarce, yet the shitheads don't have them. Of course criminal elements do but they are not using them against the general public. It's usually in the form of bikies shooting bikies, or drug dealers shooting drug dealers.

When I grew up anyone could own a gun with no problems and we all did, but around 2000, when the nation started importing hundreds of thousands of people from shitholes in africa they made it much harder, and I for one agree. Imagine if only the decent people in america could have guns, after a lengthy vetting process? I'm sure your society would be a lot safer. But your bill of rights etc prohibits that so you have to live in a society full of danger, like a warzone basically!

I know people will say "The guns are to prevent tyranny" But how is that working? For two decades nearly I have heard rhetoric from over there like "It's Almost Time" Almost time for what? To get run over by armored vehicles. I'm not anti guns by any measure believe me but the american experiment with it's constitution and bill of rights has simply produced a dangerous manipulated society where 10% are trying to kill anyone they can and big corporations are driving the average man into poverty.

If face of that I'll have my australian constitution based on the Westminster political system any day. No apologies!

we do need the guns

they are only reason we have even a tiny vestige of freedom.

But they slowly encroach on our rights, not all at once. If they did a federal govt ordered lockdown instead of just in blue states people would shoot back at fed troops.

All other rights of the People are inherent from the right to bear arms, for the only thing keeping the government from taking away our rights is the fact that we have the capacity to rebel — and furthermore, the dead cannot exercise their rights, so it is imperative that the living be provided with a means of self-defense.

The Communists seek to take away our guns, because they seek to oppress the People under the heel of the state — under a dictatorship of a tyrant! After the right to bear arms is stolen, the government shall immediately begin placing restrictions on speech and religion, as they have in every country where it has been done, and then immediately after, they shall strip the People of their right to a fair trial, to Democracy, and to their basic needs, as they have in every country where it has been done.

And you yourself admit this is the goal — you admit that the sole reason you support gun control is because you don't want "thousands of people from shitholes in africa" to have guns, and from that: any rights at all.

When only criminals bear arms, then the innocent shall be subject to their whims — and when the government decides who is allowed to defend theirselves, we are not living in a Democracy, but rather a Dictatorship.

If Communism prevails in America, and the federal government seeks to destroy the Bill of Rights, I believe that revolution is necessary, in order to secure our rights and freedoms, and destroy tyrants who would like to see us enslaved — and I believe that it is the duty of the States to secede from the Union, and form a new Union based upon freedom, Democracy, and human rights.

I will never lay down arms — I will never cease the eternal struggle against Communism and tyranny! And the only day my rights shall be taken from me is the day I die!

The West has been a plague upon the world, the dream of industrialist imperials. Any good virtue found in these countries are there only to make the populace feel secure, cared for, or free to move about, relics of an older time when people of the west still had some modicum of pride in themselves and their ancestors. A red white and blue horse would look pretty cool at that. I almost bought the bmw R1000RR with it's RWB livery, it looked a million dollars and was a killer sports bike but it was just a little too aggressive in the riding position for an old bloke like me so I stuck with my sports tourer.
