All the men that previously failed should sue for wrongful discharge from the Army. It turns out the tests didn't actually measure a soldier's ability to perform. Either that, or the government must admit that women are worse soldiers.

Why halt it? It sounds like it's working exactly as it should.

I actually think women are doing quite well.

Good on that 40% for making the grade.

"We won't lower the standards", they said.

This just shows that we need more Trans enlistment to help bring those scores up.

and those who achieve higher scores are more likely to be promoted.

Not sure what lifting weights has to do with promotions... Somebody with army experience is gonna have to explain that to me.

Since American men are unwilling to defend the Republic, we have to get soldiers somewhere.

I wonder how much this is part of it.

Very little. All they have to do to get more men to join is make enlisting better. Stop using them as test subjects for new medications. Stop screwing them over with lies about MOS and deployment. And increase pay and benefits.

So clearly it is just easier to replace them with women.

Sure, easier and cheaper. But not the only option.

I rue the day when it isn't enough to get a mustang with a 19% apr to serve your country.

Joining the military in times of peace is not "serving your country". Especially when that military is used to kill goat herders to take the oil they stand on.

Maybe they should focus on making the country one which men would volunteer to defend.

Yeah. That must be it.

So seriously, when did you start to hate America?

Have you thought about Saudi Arabia? We will have a well-paid opening in early April. Iran might be a good choice. (Afghanistan not so much.)

    Doing what?

Booze is expensive af in Saudi though.

    [–]Nemacolin 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (4 children)

I would not know about the price of alcohol here.

Here? You live in Saudi Arabia? How's that?

I used to talk to an alcoholic programmer who lived there. I think he said a 750mL bottle of some shit tier booze like Jack Daniels went for a hundo.

    [–]Nemacolin 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (2 children)

I follow the laws of the country I am in.

The thing about Saudi Arabia is that it makes whatever you are worse. If you are a drunk, you will live in an alcoholic fog. If you are gay, you will spend your time in some very active social circles. If you read (as I do) you will read a rather lot.

What do you like reading? I like military sci fi personally.

When we refused to crack down on the leftist cry-bullies.

Those worthless “woke” slime are ruining this countries. They have been around for quite some time (decades) ... it’s only recently that they have gained enough power to truly fuck things up.

For example, in response to the siege of the federal courthouse in Portland, the government should have rolled in either the marines or the army with armor support. Crush those fuckers.

When did you go soft on the enemies of this country ?

You had me in the first part but lost me with this. I didn't like it when the national guard was stationed at the airport with automatic rifles or what they did in LA during Katrina. I don't like the razor wire in the Capitol. It feels wrong. That's not America. We shouldn't use military forces on civilian populations.
