Good news, wish they'd blocked the healthcare mandate also though.

Are they laying the groundwork for a federal takeover of healthcare? I'd say yes

You mean like mandatory car insurance? Yeah, no. It's just free money for insurance companies.

That is exactly what it is. Free money for insurance companies.

Not quite, Drewski was right.

What they've done is lay the groundwork for universal healthcare, because a lot of places will try to fire individuals who don't vaccinate and/or won't apply for a religious exemption.

My guess, as COVID, or whatever comes next gets worse( because staff shortages), we will see an increase in federal funds for federal workers who will displace local workers.

and those places will face a slew of lawsuits they will lose.

Pouring one out tonight for the founding fathers and their incredible foresight.

Great news! Forcing injections on people is not acceptable. Too bad about the healthcare ruling though.

Also this is my first post here. I'm finally leaving reddit after they perm-banned another of my accounts just for having an opinion that they don't agree with. Been a user there since 2006 and seen it go from bad to worse to the point where actual discussion isn't even allowed anymore.

reddit has been a left wing echo chamber for a long time

The college I work for was all too happy to go full tilt on the mandate once the federal court overruled lower courts. I wonder if they'll be just as fast to say "oops, our bad". Something tells me that won't be the case, but I have half a mind NOT to wear the mask the now illegal mandate requires tomorrow....just to see if they'd fire me or not. Regardless, I win either way! edit: spelling

Hopeful the UK will over turn the mandate legislation next week as well.

Big loss. Nobody should be forced, especially not medical workers. This is an incredibly stupid decision, with very bad consequences. The psychotic tunnel vision will keep worsening.

So covid is killing people but you do what you like, I'm ok with that. Let idiots die.

Each individual has an individual risk of covid so has to weigh up whether taking the vaccine is worth it to them.

There was an argument that vaccinated people couldn't pass covid on to others but as that had been shown to be nonsense there's no longer an excuse for a mandate.

This is why the medical mandate is equally stupid. If the shots don't prevent transmission (which even Pfizer CEO acknowledges they don't in Omicron), then there is no "public health" argument left. It makes zero difference as a matter of interaction of people when the shots have no effect on whether one person passes the bug on to another. Forcing these shots thus forces all the adverse events while having absolutely no effect whatsoever on the trajectory of the virus.

Misinformation. You’ve been lied to for the last few years. It’s unfortunate and I’m sorry you fell for the lies. Keep paying attention to multiple news sources that, msm and others, it’s coming out slowly on msm but they’re now admitting what other news sources have been saying all along.
