I agree with you. The National Review is taking a condescending tone on this, giving off the impression they support the banks. Neil Young is a complete scumbag for wanting to censor Joe Rogan, but he's correct on this. Unfortunately he doesn't offer any solutions or better alternatives for banks.

    Awesome! At first I laughed, and then read the article, found similar articles, and then read NY's website, which asks that people move their money from BigBanks that support fossil fuels to banks that don't invest in fossil fuels. What the responses leave out is the solution NY mentioned. He could also mention in this context credit unions that have divested in fossil fuels. I'm sure all of us at Saidit would be very happy to see people move from the big banks to credit unions and smaller banks, for many reasons. I suspect /u/magnora7 would say the same.

    Same here. I suspect our reasons for scepticism would be a little more sane than whatever causes Young's brain to overheat that day.
