Elon ain't buying Twitter.

If Twitter was smart, they would let this dog rest.

It might backfire.

Are you particularly interested? Do you like Elon?

If it makes a diff.. I think Twitter is overvalued and perhaps their stated advertising revenue figures are faked.. maybe I am wrong about this, maybe there is something that I am missing... But Twitter claims to take in something like $3 billion in advertising dollars, but when I go to Twitter I DO NOT EVER REMEMBER EVER SEEING A SINGLE ADVERTISEMENT.

I don't get it, and so unless I am missing something..

Data mining is big business, but I'll give my opinion on why Musk suddenly changed course. Musk works with the U.S. government as a contractor. There was some "drama" about the Starlink satellites over Ukraine and who would be paying for it. Suddenly and without any public statement, that "drama" went away. Now, the Biden administration is reviewing the deal for security reasons, namely the monies from foreign investments. Either this deal gets done with Musk getting some type of unpublicized compensation, or Musk gets let off the hook by way of "national security". Also, as part of the due diligence process, I'm sure Musk now knows about any government propaganda using the Twitter platform. That would be another reason to keep him happy.

No, your logic is scattered and all over the road, just fyi.

I will be extremely surprised if he carries thru and buys Twitter!

You do realize that $44,000,000,000.00 is a serious shitton of money.

It is an astronomical amount of money, it is an insane amount of money to pay for a website that could be built from scratch in a month by a small team and then just one word from Elon speaking his new domain name on the Joe Rogan show for example... and his platform is launched.

Why would he want to buy second hand trash when he can start fresh with no bots.

Twitter has absolutely ZERO resale value in my opinion.

Twitter has no value as scrap, it's not worth hauling to a recycler.

Twitter is pure trash.

Nice chatting with you, miss zapped

Ok. Why did he change his mind and is now proceeding with the deal?

I don't know ..

It doesn't make sense to me..

Do you have a solid link that clearly explains that he is moving forward with the deal, please?

In the Reuters link, at the top of that article, it mentions something about security filings..

Do you know how to look up those filings?

I really need to see those filings that are mentioned at the top of the Reuters page.

Thx.

Irrelevant.
