While you are entitled to your opinion, so are others. You critique the Daily Sceptic, but they are regurgitating data reported by the OECD. You are quite literally shooting the messenger.

Ask yourself where Time got their data from and what they have to gain on reporting statistics in articles the way they do. Advertising revenue? Sponsorship? Funding? Legal complications? Members on the same board? Old mates with someone making big bucks from PPE sales? There are reasons why Sweden was demonised the way it was, it removed the illusion that lockdowns worked when they didn't.

What a coincidence that a new medical technology was at hand for a harmless virulent infection that nobody has isolated during typical seasonal sniffle season 🙄 what a coincidence that big pharma has record profits following a period of economic struggles 🙄 what a coincidence that there's a government sheep on Saidit ready to bend over at every possible opportunity to spout nonsense. 🙄

you will find information on excess deaths that are not reported as COVID-related.

This is a lie. You are a lying shill. Excess mortality has nothing to do with cause of death. It literally is not reported as anything. That is exactly why jews can't manipulate it like they do all the other records.

I have retard. You take the average death rate for the last 5 years. Anything more is excess mortality.

Take your bullshit back to reddit.

          He's right.

Large amounts of people died of heart disease and cancer during the pandemic because they were scared to go to hospital.

Then you have the suicide and murder rates increasing too.

          [–][deleted] 8 insightful - 4 fun8 insightful - 3 fun9 insightful - 4 fun -  (0 children)

People died because hospitals turned cancer patients away for their chemotherapy so they could keep sniffles in hospital beds.

The excess mortality indicator simply takes the number of people who died from any cause, in a given period, and compares it with a historical baseline from previous years in a period which was not affected by the pandemic.

Yes, and Sweden scored very low on this metric.

Unsolved disappearances due to wolves eating people is why Sweden did better with COVID! You heard it here first folks!

                You sir are a conspiritard.

                [–][deleted] 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

Wouldn't it be possible that if excess deaths are reported worldwide that aren't related directly to COVID, and the excess exists in countries with no lockdown measures that might account for some of those number, that the vaccine may be a contributing factor by aggravating underlying conditions or by causing mild side effects in those susceptible to complications?

                [–][deleted] 4 insightful - 3 fun4 insightful - 2 fun5 insightful - 3 fun -  (11 children)

Sweden has manipulated that data from the earliest COVID period

                evidence?

while also arranging for 'scientists' in Sweden to state that they have a better approach to COVID in Sweden, (but without the appriate arguments).

                evidence?

Which links are about 'Sweden has manipulated that data from the earliest COVID period'? Providing a ton of tangentially related 'evidence' is called a 'gish gallop'.

So are the OECD (5 month old) statistics wrong, or are you anti-science? I had you pegged as a man of science, but I guess the science is contradicting your rigid political worldview.

Observable reality all around us suggests that COVID believers and their public health gods are the ones over-inflating the data. Not the other way around.

Normal people don't even get sick when they contract any coronavirus. Perhaps Sweden is simply not reporting people dying WITH covid...

Sweden also has a relatively small population of only 10.4 million, 9 million of which live in rural areas and are not in regular physical contact with other residents.

Oh my God. This TOTAL BUFFOON thinks that Sweden hasn't been through the industrial revolution yet! Not only that but he seems to think that they roam around in territories that they aggressively defend from all outsiders outside of the pack! ("not in regular physical contact with other residents.")

That is going to keep me laughing for a year!

Sweden – one of the few countries without a lockdown – and use synthetic control techniques to develop a counterfactual lockdown scenario. They find that a lockdown would not have helped much in Sweden.

New Zealand's cumulative excess deaths during CoVID is still negative by this estimate

I suspect that 15.5% in the article is high.

Looking at the table behind this chart:

                          https://ourworldindata.org/grapher/cumulative-excess-deaths-covid?tab=table&country=SWE~NZL~NOR~ISL

Sweden only has the 62nd lowest relative increase in excess mortality over the covid era, behind New Zealand, Seychelles, Antigua and Barbuda, Greenland, Luxembourg, Brunei, Faeroe Islands, Suriname, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Mongolia, Japan, Liechtenstein, Barbados, Bermuda, Maldives, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Ireland, Taiwan, Dominican Republic, Singapore, French Polynesia, Malta, Aruba, Panama, Transnistria, Iceland, El Salvador, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Belarus, Jamaica, Monaco, Jordan, Lebanon, Tajikistan, Argentina, Cape Verde, New Caledonia, Thailand, Kuwait, Moldova, Uruguay, Finland, Malaysia, North Macedonia, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Palestine, Reunion, Albania, Puerto Rico, Mauritius, Norway, Portugal, Martinique, Estonia, Switzerland, Denmark, Austria, San Marino and Gibraltar.

The Swedes are also notorious for having a lack of adequate Vitamin D in their bodies due to living in such a sun-starved latitude. I wonder if there's an overall higher number of people taking high doses of daily Vit. D supplements, which the Experts™ tell us is useless. All I know is I've been taking it, I spent a lot of unmasked time around people who were contagious with Wuhan, and I still have yet to knowingly have come down with it.
