I think we need death metal blaring from speakers throughout the night to call Satanists to pray. Raghead at day, edgelord at night. Why should anyone fuckin sleep anymore, day or night shift.

I believe in God, but that the Bible is a work of man, and just as potentially fallible, although it contains ancient human wisdom and even possibly divine inspiration as well.

Mostly, I just don't like the idea of such noise, as someone who has difficulty sleeping at times, I don't need my rest disturbed by someone else's religious trappings if I couldn't sleep at night.

Play some show tunes. That will really piss them off since most of them are written by people who are either Jewish, Gay, or both.

As someone who has lived in the Middle East, Islamabad, Pakistan to be exact. Held captive for ten months by radicals as a small child, I can attest to the loudspeaker call to prayer, five fucking times a day. Quite the nuisance. Do you recall Obama’s book where he said it was “the sweetest sound”? I do. And I’m angry.

I’m White and I live in rural Northern California. Not a lot of church bells where I am, but just the same, Jesus is Lord. Edit: my time in Islamabad is quite a story as you suggested. Although 44 years ago, it’s still quite fresh in my memory, especially the smell.

Loudspeakers in public is a sign of a third world dictatorship. I don't care what's played on them I would vandalize them. I'm already annoyed at stores with flashing lights in the windows.
