All of these fools that contaminate food by licking it, then putting it back. need to face serious jail time. They will enjoy working in the kitchen of their local penitentiary. Try licking someone else's food there and see what happens.

    Cleanup in aisle 5.

Pretty sure there's a lot of lawyers out there who could get a "detainting the food supply" verdict... carries a similar sentence to poisoning the well.

It's a pretty serious violation of civility. I think jail time is appropriate, but I'm not sure how much.

20 years in prison does not make sense but compulsory toilet cleaning for one day a week for 5 years does.

    Should she use her tongue? ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

What why did she had Aids or something? or Ebola

    [–]Tom_Bombadil 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

    Nope. It's stupid.

Even if she did, would you expect Ebola or AIDS to survive for an instant on the surface of a frozen tub of ice cream for who knows how long...
    until someone purchases it...
and drives home with it to eat it many hours later...

Any biological contaminants would be frozen, and unable to grow to a harmful level.

I agree that it's disgusting and gross.

She's being charged with the legal equivalent of manslaughter for spoiling some ice cream.

People on this thread seem to think that she should have her life ruined over this. I disagree.

Yes, toiled cleaning for 5/10 days at a row can be good options.

    Sure. Some community service.

Not prison where tax payer dollars are spent to ruin some poor foolish womans life.

Does anyone remember when Ariana Grande licked those donuts?

    Who's that?

    [–]SierraKiloBravo 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

A type of coffee from Starbucks

    [–]sawboss[S] 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

I didn't know. I've only been to Starbuck once, and their coffee is too expensive.

This is basically the penalty equivalent of manslaughter.

    https://statelaws.findlaw.com/texas-law/texas-manslaughter-laws.html

Manslaughter in Texas is a second degree felony. This charge will typically carry a sentence of between two and twenty years in a state prison and/or a fine of no more than $10,000.

It's a shitty thing to do, but it's not even remotely close to the death of another person.

    This is absurd.

Can you provide any examples of people who died from consuming contaminated saliva that was frozen? Crucially frozen, cause they put it back in the freezer.

So you believe that someone's life was in danger because some idiotic woman licked some ice cream?

I do think it's a joke. I think that the risks are in the 0.000X% range. Literally trivial.

People have a better chance of getting struck by lightning.
