On missing the announcement where Trump declared himself king

this is a response that i think is needed. I'll drop the (most) of the snark and take it down a notch...

I generally think Trump is garbage, but the statements you made generally either

  • show a lack of independent thought or 

  • show sheer ignorance of the past, and sheer ignorance of constitution, sheer ignorance of the present, and u been watching/listening to too much msnbc and ignorance of how the U.S. executive/administrative branch is designed or

  • show willful & malicious interpretations and statements, but hey, men can be women these days, so when in Rome.. Or

  • a combination of any/all of the above and after reading and seeing what you deleted, I'm pretty sure it's number 2, so there's hope for you.

in not trying to come across as too much of an asshole, I'll tone this part down as well. I suggest you look into the FBI and any of the other "independent investigating agencies" which you seem to think of as beacons of light and hope.. Most of these are administrative agencies and generally tied to the executive branch. Though they may claim some level of autonomy and independence, that's not how our system of government was designed but how it's been corrupted and perverted by politicians who hate the constitution and a people who also neither know and nor care about it so long as they have tinder, grindr, xhamster and xbox.

However i can't give you a pass on this.. The entire rant was like verbatim msnbc/leftists/Democrat talking points..

Seriously, if you believe any of what you wrote, you need to think for yourself and rely less on what HuffPo or MSNBC tells you to think. or at the very minimum, find someone on the other side and listen to them so you can get both viewpoints and you won't sound like an automaton that gets memed out on a chan board.

You call still think Trump is a terrible human being, because he is. In fact, i wouldn't piss on him if he were on fire, but he's no worse than any of the dumpster fires that are up on those debate stages.

I responded to a newcomer here on saidit, who wrote a rather lengthy post, on the topic stated.

I'm going to guess they're probably young, and there is no need to rehash it, my response was pretty thorough and i think anyone can get the gist and agree or disagree accordingly.

By the time i had responded to it, the individual deleted the post.

I chose to respond to the deleted post because it was filled with many obvious fallacies and misconceptions, (e.g. Rachel Maddow talking points). Although i think the author was genuine in their belief, they were also woefully ignorant, (as in the Trump admin was the one to corrupt and abuse the FBI).

I think it's important everyone is open to new ideas, including myself. This just is a reminder for that.

Although, if you're a Bernie bro, he just might have the stones to round up all the illegals and put them in camps in Texas for the trip back to their homeland. He's made statements in the past that his socialism can't have the free loaders on the system. I dunno why he can't just print more money, but whateva.

cuz it didn't work so well in the ussr, venezuela, or zimbabwe. Value is determined by public scarcity and a populous willing to accept it. It's why diamond companies went into a panic after people started making fakes you could barely tell apart. Whether it's cloth, paper, or a shiny rock, if everybody's got it there's no easy way to barter with it.
