I encourage everyone to vote third party or to vote against the incumbent. If you're not sure about particular legislation just say no.

It really does matter, although not as much as we'd like.

Or show up at their office on a regular basis with a list of demands. It's worked in the past.

Great advice! And if there's only one candidate running for an office unopposed feel free to leave the box blank to maybe encourage someone next cycle to challenge the incumbent.

I would say that it is better to not vote for issues or candidates that you do not know about.

Yeah it would be ideal if people cared enough to look into everything, but I'm encouraging a simple protest vote policy mostly as an alternative to not voting. I'm convinced that nothing substantial and good can come from anyone running as a democrat or republican.
