It's tranny stuff, wokism, and the liberal states/cities being worse about taking away our freedoms with lockdowns and vax mandates.

[–]MuskyIndependent[S] 2 insightful - 3 fun2 insightful - 2 fun3 insightful - 3 fun -  (0 children)

Exactly.

[–][deleted] 10 insightful - 3 fun10 insightful - 2 fun11 insightful - 3 fun -  (3 children)

It's a huge betrayal.

Wokism is not liberal

Vaccine mandates and passports are not liberal

Censorship is not liberal

Warmongering is not progressive

I don't care about the tranny stuff as much as I care that we are all supposed to play along with it and pretend they are real women or be convicted of wrongthink and canceled. Thats not liberal, that isn't civil rights, thats auhtoritarianism

The message im sending isn't 'I love republicans', its 'Democrats you have betrayed your principles, I won't allow this to be a winning platform on my watch'

That's how I see it too, hopefully this will be a repudiation of the direction the party is taking if they take major losses. Reform or die.

And the pedo aspect. It's a Trojan horse.

Not liberal at all. Censorship is not liberal. Forcing people to do things they don’t want is not liberal. Liberal is not genital mutilation. And communism is not liberal.

Actual nazis never called themselves nazis. That was a slur given by their opponents the sozis. They call themselves National Socialists.

    [–][deleted] 3 insightful - 2 fun3 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

Goebbels actually published a pamphlet titled Der Nazi-Sozi.

    [–]Alphix 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

Wait. I'm an actual nazi too... According to you I can't say this? Did you vote DNC? ;-)

    [–]Chipit 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

If you were, you'd know that the term nazi was a pejorative, and never used by actual national socialists.

    [–]Alphix 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Hm... Have you ever heard a black person refer to themselves as a "nigger"? A pejorative is only so from a certain perspective. One can choose to adopt it as a badge of honor. I did. I don't go out in the streets screaming I'M A FUCKING NAZI COME TRY TO KILL ME at the top of my lungs.

    [–]send_nasty_stuff 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

True but I think he's responding to OP using OP's language. Sometimes when I'm redpilling people I refer to myself as an evil bigot racist nazi. It helps to decondition people.

s/debatealtright had a couple dudes, not sure they're still around. I don't think it's very common here. This is also a more moderate platform than the other alt-forums.

Whatever the DNC used to stand for is gone, it's a memory. Today the DNC has a president afflicted by senility and is following his handlers into doing all a president can do to destroy the US—letting in illegals at the rate of a quarter million a month, encouraging the DOJ to catch and release felony criminals back into the population, promoting a nuclear war, and allowing his own son and the sons of other senators to work for our enemies with no punishment. Plus Biden has given $60 billion plus to UKR. We do not need Trump this time. We need new blood like Ron DeSantis. Trump is compromised by Zionists. The main problem is about Jewish control of our perception. The US is being used for their purposes.

I think DeSantis is problematic because he became pretty wealthy in office. That's a big problem in politics these days

        [–]Chipit 4 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 0 fun5 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

Old-fashioned graft is the least of problems a politician can have. They're all going to do it, and if that's his biggest problem, it's not a problem as long as he gets the job done.

        [–]MuskyIndependent[S] 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

I don't begrudge them doing well, but these guys get filthy stinking rich off public office and I seriously doubt they're serving their constituents appropriately if they're too busy enriching themselves.

        [–]Alienhunter 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

That's a fair observation and criticism to make. But I'll point out it's pretty much everyone who becomes popular politically. Once you're a household name you can make loads on the speaking / ghost writing circuit where you can go do a 2 hour dinner in each city with the political uberfans willing to pay $10,000 a plate so they can be in the same room as the person and maybe get to shake their hand and say hello. Riveting stuff.

        [–]chottohen 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

The Democratic Party of today is not the Party it was in the 90's. Or even early 2000's. Something changed. I used to vote Dem, too. I liked a lot of their ideas, and they used to be good diplomats, and had balance. Not anymore. I've been voting Red for a couple of elections now, and I've grown ok with it. Sometimes, though, I do get sad that the Dems have absolutely nothing moderate, workable, and rational to offer anymore. It's sad.

        [–]MuskyIndependent[S] 2 insightful - 3 fun2 insightful - 2 fun3 insightful - 3 fun -  (0 children)

        I completely agree.

Congratulations on seeing through the bullshit. The problem, in every case, is to side with the Party instead of your own values. The Party line blows with the winds and they have no principles. By having values of your own, and forcing the parties to cater to you, you regain control. They should have to buy your vote, one way or another. In the current cycle, I'm a single issue voter - I'll vote for you if you are anti-vax for the children. I don't care about immigration or most any other issue. I guess that makes me a Republican this time around, but there are morons with esteemed credentials on both sides.

        [–]zyxzevn 4 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 0 fun5 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

There is clearly a lot of emotional play here. The dog had rabies, if that makes you feel better.

The democrats have been pushing very destructive politics. But most of all. Most of the news that you are reading is fake. So you do not even know how fucked up the politics has become.

Now it is time for the republicans to fuck it up. But I hope some of them will have more sense. I think about 90% of all politicians should be in jail and not leading a country.

The left has long had a problem with vicious infighting. The committed Bolsheviks who murdered their way through Russians, Christians, and anyone else who stood in their way were sent to the gulags that they created. For being falsely accused of the same crimes they falsely accused Russians and Christians of.

The sad part is, being defeated in elections teaches them nothing. They don't change. They can't change. It would mean realizing that they were wrong the whole time. They can't do that without falling apart into destructive cognitive dissonance. So they rage and call everyone to the right of Mao Zedong a "fascist".

        [–]MuskyIndependent[S] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (3 children)

The "red wave" failed to materialize anyways. I think they would change if not changing made them unelectable, but we won't know now.

You mean... You think the whole thing isn't rigged???

        [–]MuskyIndependent[S] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

I don't see how it could be entirely rigged. I cast a physical ballot here in Texas for the first time in decades. I believe other states took measures to ensure integrity of the process as well, particularly the red strongholds.

        [–]Alienhunter 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

There's little concrete evidence to show overt and widespread fraud in US elections, there's enough money involved and enough people watching it closely that any overt attempts to do something illegal will be noticed and acted on quickly.

That said you can rest assured that with so much money and time being invested into elections our can be all but certain both parties will use whatever means are at their disposal to influence elections coming right to up skirting the boundaries of what is and is not fair, even if it's not technically illegal.

So to say the process is rigged really depends on what you mean by that. The system itself is and is always going to be far from perfect, and it's "rigged" in favor of who can fund the most campaign advertising to convince voters. But that's not the same thing as throwing out votes they don't like.

That sort of election fraud does happen in every election but it's almost always individual actors doing shit like throwing away mail in ballots like that one mailman did, granted that sort of thing often gets caught and it's treated quite harshly.

There's always some sketchy stuff going around at the fringes, during the Obama election there were dudes larping as black panther types at some polling stations with guns intimidating people but there's basically nothing to suggest it was a widespread top down decision and it's effect on the election results wouldn't have made a difference in the end.

It won't stop people from making the accusations of fraud however, which frankly I think is overall a good thing since it means it's just that much harder to get away with actual fraud, unfortunately in the highly polarized media environment we enjoy it doesn't really matter if there's fraud or not, most people are going to believe what they want to believe about it and you'll always have some small vocal minority that thinks their candidate got shafted.

Republicans did it in 2020. Dems did it in 2016. Republicans did it in 2008. Dems did it in 2000. Been going on forever. Nothing new except everyone has a camera in their pocket now and the ability to share to a wider audience making this stuff get more public awareness.

Why not research the platforms of those running for the offices you're voting for and choose the ones who most align with your perspective? Who gives a shit if the candidate has an R, D, or I next to their name?

        [–]MuskyIndependent[S] 4 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 0 fun5 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

It's like Hongkongphooey said, voting straight Republican is a repudiation of the direction the DNC has taken. Voting Democrat will not send the message, and voting for a third party can have the unintended effect of getting a Democrat elected anyways and obviously that will not send a message either.

        [–]Alienhunter 4 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 0 fun5 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

I usually do this. This year it was such bullshit getting any sort of information on candidates I basically voted red down the way. Don't like the Republicans and think they are retarded but when Dems are doing stupid shit like refusing to fucking debate their opponents because they are afraid they'll lose I can't in good faith vote for that weak ass nonsense even if I think their opponents is gonna be a massive failure. At least they'll be a massive failure that isn't a fucking pussy.

Trump has a great deal wrong with him and the people that worship the ground he walks on are a bunch of retarded idiots, but give him his due he does talk crap very well and I love seeing career politicians and journalists having to deal with that shit. Granted I'd be far happier if Trump was put into position as Twitter lord or just a marketing head of the republican party and not in a position where he actually gets to call the shots and make policy, but the whole system is so fucked now you basically can win just by being a dick and the Dems are still whining about it like little fag babies.

President Camacho ya'll, this not sure guy he's gonna fix all the problems, give the electrolytes plants crave. Shits gonna get real.
