Because Ken O'Keefe has been prominently posted here on SaidIt this week - and since earlier this or last week I looked back over Know More News to see if it was all just the same monotone Israel bashing (though well deserved), I'd actually watched this interview a few days ago because Ken is the man.

I'm very confused. This post was a year ago. I forget most of it. I don't know what the $79k is or the strategy. And I can't tell if you're being clever with "caust" or made a typo for "cost" and I still don't see a strategy relation.

Right. He was working on something. He also got delayed / scammed or something. Seems like a low number to sell your rep on.

Larken Rose is also working on a big thing, like a choose-your-own-adventure anarchist mirror.

Rescuing turtles makes for a good story but it doesn't sound like he's been making wise life choices, putting himself and his possessions in harms way. Not a wise investment, but an interesting character with interesting tales. After a while he sounds like a low level con-artist, rambling on and on rather than a plan - beyond moving from Hawaii to Ireland. Yet in this age of YouTube celebs and online busking, I say power to him.
