It's appropriate to understand the Matrix as a symbolic or spiritual truth, but not a literal one, and it's perhaps important to distinguish between those two. The world isn't literally a computer simulation made by people in a different, physical world.

Is there any ist or ism we can trust? The current Lab Leak, Jan 6th revelations, and Twitter revelations would suggest conspiracy is alive and well here in the US. I don't think it's communism, but oligarchy, as much as the Dems try to paint themselves as socialists, they're not. They have their paymasters too and that's what it's really all about.
