From Slaughterhouse-Five, chapter 4, for anybody looking for the source. Highly recommended read!

Did you check out his last book Man Without a Country? It was good too from what I remember and had lots of overtly political and anti-war stuff.

Cat's Cradle is my favorite though, or Sirens of Titan.

I haven't yet, but I'll put it on my list! Cat's Cradle is a favourite of mine too, and Sirens is on a truck somewhere, trying to find its way to me as I write this.

My absolute favourite is Mother Night by him, though it is pretty different than most of his sci-fi work. (But still the same, quality dark humour)

Hope your copy of Sirens found you.

Just found a copy of Cat's Cradle at this used bookstore I like, it is a limited edition British release from '65. Was looking for a copy to reread it, lots of synchro stuff around ice-9 popping up for some reason. Great book.

Well that's fantastic news. I'm ready for a reread myself.
