I'm too stoned to go looking for the citation but I read earlier that the explosion was the SIZE OF EARTH. Which even when I wasn't stoned, sounded quite remarkable.

edit: whoa, this article mentions the same thing. Even uses the word remarkable.

I'm amazed and scared shitless at the same time. The scale of the impact reminds me that Earth is just a tiny fart existing on borrowed time.
