I've used duck duck go for a while, but I don't understand what this "Bangs!" thing is. Is that their name for their search engine or something?

its an old search engine hack, they re-introduced. so when i type !g cabbage into startpage it will return search results just as if they were served by google.com.

thats why !g cabbage and cabbage search results are not the same.

and they have lots of these, but idk how well they work on ddg.
