Problem is if you fire 1 shot it melts, and finding a bullet is not that easy in some countries. The future of terrorism are homemade bombs dropped by drones, not 3d printing.

Do some research.

The real problem is that it's not so easy to 3d-print metal and all other materials i can regard as feasible for this are either extremely hard to get or not so easy to 3d-print. If you want to build a barrel that can withstand some firing i wouldn't suggest to use these kinds of plastic.

Couldn't you make a Glock?
"... The Glock is literally made in a plastic mold as opposed to being assembled from steel. Its what makes it so light; and what allows the gun to have the large capacity [is that] the plastic is very thin ...": https://www.popularmechanics.com/military/weapons/a7445/why-the-glock-became-americas-handgun/
Or a plastic single-shot Derringer?

But the barrel and the locking mechanism are still made from metal , afaik and i'm definitely no gun expert. Even in a derringer i suppose.
If i ever needed a distance weapon, i most def. used a DIY - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crossbow . It surely isn't that handy or concealable but has so many advantages easily outweighing this one and simple disadvantage. Especially since you can manufacture the ammo for every purpose you intend to use it for yourself very easily.
