The weakest link to this argument is GPU's are needed for heavy data loads when in reality we should be seeing higher end I7's 5th gen on up and I9's fly out of the stores like crazy as those perform best for work loads. Graphics are best at keeping FPS stable on games where they don't do anything for data transfer as that is CPU intensive not tapping into the GPU if you know anything how affinity works you'll want to tie your data mining to a CPU core that is soley dedicated to the cause and overlock abilities will be your friend here.

GPU's are tied to things like explosions,fire,dense vegetation,etc in games like Forza Horizion 4 and 5 will benefit a major GPU upgrade then CPU if your CPU is decent enough to run it but you need to dumb it down to LOW to avoid the low VIDEO warning: Even if your computer can handle it but you don't have a card or too low of a card it will STILL spit out the warning with no way to remove it:
