You did fire drills once a month? I think our school dreaded loosening students unsupervised unto the campus.

Usually around 11am just before 1st lunch. Oregon's laws called 'Do the drill' mandate 1X fire drill each month.

School fire drills were far less than once a month in the UK. Maybe a couple of times a year.

It's pretty normal for a workplaces to test the alarm every week time but drills are far less often. Probably because false alarms are so common due to toasters smoking everyone knows what to do.

All the schools I've been too have always been 1X per month usually just before lunch for some odd reason. I always assumed all schools did it that way. I would've loved just a couple times per year. Do you know ahead of time?
