Your stance on "trans" people?

In general. Even before all this shit went the way it was, between, or even after... How do y'all feel about them? Think there's some "legit" ones or nah? Especially with the whole "gender identity" thing...

Either way (for me), I don't like them. Don't hate them, nor care about them. Even if there's some "legit" ones, most rabid ones fucked it up for the rest. Alongside, I'm a believer in you cannot change your sex or anything. I don't care if you "transitioned" and faked it/play pretend early in life.

And I've always felt like this. So, at most I'm just "tolerant" of them. Even within my family, we have a family friend that's a trans identified male who got all the surgeries done, and I barely interact to them, and they were like this even while I was little, and during those times I always felt something was wrong/felt off about them. Then I found out they were trans.

It might also have to do with the fact that during my teen years I had a breakdown and almost went ftm because of the interactions I had with their kind due to me not being the most feminine and during that time I was with a chick. HSTS relationships looked "normal" to me, so with the people I was interacting with + feeding more what I'm pretty sure was internalized biphobia and sexism I had at the time, I had a breakdown and begged my mom to let me "transition into a boy." Obviously, that didn't work out. Then what gave me an even bigger wake up call was when they were trying to redefine sexuality, what woman/man means, and demanded society to change for them despite being less than 1% of the population.

Either way, I believe them "transitioning" doesn't help, and they need better treatment that doesn't involve enabling their mental illness. Women cannot be men, and men cannot be women. Period. BUT, I do not condone them being murdered, assaulted, etc. But. I'm also like that even with horrid groups like far right. You shouldn't be assaulting anyone and shit unless it's outta self-defense and shit.

And before anyone asks: I'm not GC or RadFem. I don't consider myself either of two nor label myself as one of them. I have my doubts about both of them, especially RadFem and some of their misandrist people. Even against normal men who less likely be apart of the "oppressive class" due to race, class, sexuality, etc. I'm more into "normal" feminism (not sure what the specific name would be for it), equity for women and men. Although, I'm pretty sure I would be considered a TE, without the RF. But, even before dabbling into feminism in general (my family wasn't the one to teach this stuff, they had other things worry about and most learned about it from school and the internet), I wasn't too big on the "trans" shit.

They're all insane, and instead of getting their minds fixed, which the system can't since psychology and psychiatry are utterly unscientific, they mutilate their bodies according to their delusions and fantasies. That's not going to end well.

Reddit has (had?) a "transition surgery horror stories" sub. I visited. It is a house of horrors.

Claiming you're a feminist while still supporting men and the patriarchy and probably a handmaiden or a pickme is considered liberal feminism, even if you hate trannies.

How are feminists mentally ill? The normal breed just promote equity between women and men. That's not mental illness. If anything, that's disrespectful since you're watering down what it means to be mentally ill.

Huh? I'm not sure if you're referring to me specifically but I'm for supporting both women and men. Not just one. That's true equity, and I dislike double standards as it's hypocritical. Both sexes should have equal rights despite being different in their own ways. Not sure if that's still considered being a "handmaiden" or pickme. Nor do I necessarily hate "trans" people, I dislike but it's mostly dislike for their methods of "treatment."

The world is filled with mentally ill people and the psychiatric/medical community is incompetent, and in America, too many people can't even afford it. Every single child in America today is being raised with immense trauma. Find me one teen who isn't depressed. Back in the 90's boomers used to scoff at us "How can you possibly be depressed? You're a teen." And today it's like "Of course you're depressed! You're a teen!"

So saying trans people are mentally ill, they need help is pointless. There are millions of people who need mental help and none of them are getting it. Trans people are trying to self-medicate by transing themselves because thanks to social contagion and word-of-mouth and internet disease, they have been convinced that transitioning will cure them and solve all their problems (not all of them are delusional like this but too many of them are) this is why the suicide rate doesn't change after transition. Many of the dudes who get bottom surgery end up killing themselves. And I'm not even talking about the autogynephiles and other porn-sick trans-impostors, I'm just talking about the ones with dysphoria.

Yes, they need help 100% and the help they need does exist, but there are such few doctors/therapists out there capable of sitting down and helping and it's really all about being in the right place at the right time with the right doctor. Especially now that so many doctors are terrified of rocking the boat. They are not even allowed to question trans people anymore, they must immediately affirm. That is bullshit.

What is the solution to this problem? There has to be a radical change in the system from the top down all the way to the roots. And will this happen? No.

So in the meantime we have to coexist with these people and do our damndest to get laws passed that at least protect children below age 18 from getting railroaded into a lifetime of medical dependency.

It's okay. But the thing is, when it comes to trans (Sex Dysphoria) and other mental disorders, they're literally given a free pass. Which doesn't help that some are even trying to get SD removed from the DSM.

We could try and "coexist" but even with that, there's some trying to erode on other's rights and change definitions. Then, as you said, trying to put a stop and protect children underneath 18 from getting involved. Even more worrying since some of the children getting pulled into this have austism.

I don't like the ones that try to make every place to be about themselves and the ones that try to tell others what they are/should be, which is something that only we ourselves know for sure (I hope that's not too confusing, my english isn't good enough). About the rest of them that live peacefully, I just want to ignore them and someday hope to at least tolerate them

Your English is fine! But yeah, the "normal" ones I can tolerate. I mainly wouldn't interact w/ them unless I had to. It's the ones 100% attention seeking ones I def got an issue with, especially when they make it about themselves as you said.
