If you look at any country where America has introduced democracy, they confirm identity through biometrics, typically a fingerprint, and require a identification to participate. The elections are not kept secret.

If we want people to trust our system, elections are going to have to open up for auditing. If we do not, bigger problems will no doubt come to us.
