Interesting article, especially the way it's written. When put that way, it becomes clear that even the overton window feeds in to the "divide and conquer" tactic.

Artistotle said a despotic leader prefers a fractured society.

I always wondered about the divide and conquer thing, especially around the trans bathroom and trans rights debates. I didn't know there was an actual name for this strategy. Thanks

I didn't know the term either, glad to know it now.

It's funny, I was talking with a friend who was defending voting for the lesser of two evils just last week, and I find it hard to justify that thinking instead of screaming for better. This article really stood out after that conversation.

A website called ActivistPost that uses an anarchist symbol, but doesn't let you view the page unless your browser allows them to load javascript from Google Analytics? JFC is this real life?

I didn't even notice and just thought I had accidentally clicked a link, since after stopping the next page from loading I was able to read the article perfectly.

Didn't catch the Google Analytics permission (I'm not that tech savvy), that is a little sketchy. The author of the article posts her content on medium.com, I'm assuming the content would be there as well.

Very well written article, thanks for sharing! It's spot on for how I see the world; well perhaps, it's lacking the legalization of dueling, but hey, close.
