The mask mandates are just like seatbelt laws

They seem really similar, Government forces you to wear something you don't want or they'll fine you. And people drive a lot so they'd have to wear the seatbelt alot. There's tons of people who don't wear seatbelts now so back then there would have been even more. How did they deal with the ant-seatbelters who didn't want the government to force them to wear something? This was a high thought

Seat belts work at protecting people. Masks do not.

totally agree much as i think people should wear them, theyre should be no mandate. freedom of choice always comes first

seat belt law is revanue generation. just a couple years ago I saw one cop standing at a red light so he could look over into cars and then radioing his buddy to pull people over for not wearing a seat belt and ticket them. you aren't endangering anyone else by not wearing a seatbelt. they don't care about you. the people writing that law and passing it don't give a shit about any of us. it's all money.
