What is the explanation / psychology behind this obsessive COVID brainwashing?

I used to be quite naive (probably still am) and thought that if scientific data was published and the virus was found to be less harmful than we thought, that people would respond to that accordingly. Maybe this meant taking to the streets to protest. Refusal to wear masks. Opening their stores and shops back up, ect. To be clear - When things are politically involved, people seem to not like facts and statistics if it doesn't fit their narrative. But covid? It's destroying most lives. Financially and mentally.

After I saw the CDC release their numbers that roughly 6% of the folks who had covid died from that alone, I figured that maybe - just MAYBE people would say "Okay. Enough is enough. This is bullshit".... But they didn't? They continued to actually double down and continue to push the narrative that our lives are simply unlivable until this virus goes away for good. It's almost as though they do not want to EVER go back to the way life was. They like having most of their fun activities shut down. The restaurants closed. Having to wear a mask into every store. Losing their jobs (Working from home is a positive, to be fair).

Even if the CDC came out and said that they had tested everyone wrong and that the virus is basically harmless, all the deaths were false positives and that it's okay to live again.... People would still keep pushing the narrative of doom and destruction.

On a reddit thread a few months back I casually joked that I was late for work living in Florida because they were clearing all of the covid bodies out of the way. It was met with this strange reaction. A conflation of - It's not that serious! and - You're downplaying a very serious situation.... Like they knew people weren't dying in the streets as they were making it out to be but were also upset that I was making such a gross over reaction - both of which contradict each other.

When I post on here I am usually met with condescension and belittlement, whatever. Perhaps it's as simple as I am making it out to be - brainwashing for political purposes. The same kind of shit people say like "It's okay to cheat the election because Trump is so bad, it's more moral obligation to remove him from office". Total derangement syndrome.

Changing the goalposts seems to be a common tactics as well. First it was cases, then we went to deaths, and then when there weren't a lot of deaths we kept shouting at the vast number of cases, despite the high survival rate. Keep in mind, when I mention fear mongering I am not talking about media sources. That's a given. I am talking about NPC people. What do THEY have to gain? What does an every day person get from this mindless agenda of never wanting to live a normal life again?

Two different types of "NPC people".

First, online. Never forget that a significant amount of online posts are literally NPCs. In other words, a huge amount of the "chatter" we have around us in all online venues (including this one) are actually either AI generated or paid shitseller generated talking points. There are massive amounts of resources being dedicated to the online war for hearts and minds. By simply blitzing us with such large volumes of bullshit, the resulting confusion is sufficient to their task of keeping us paralyzed with information overload.

Second, however, are the people on the street, where there are also evident NPCs. This is a result of our education system combined with the obliteration of conditions allowing survival of nuclear families. These two go hand in glove. I have some sympathy for teachers, because they are being tasked with "teaching" students who need waaaay more than any teacher could offer. That said, the teachers (themselves victims of the same family destruction) then continue to propagate the very same failed ideology that created the earlier generations of destroyed students. It is indeed a very nasty cycle.

The family is where this is at. Our culture has devalued families and the incredible wisdom they had to offer. By placing corporate values and benefits at the head of the line, everything else has become slave to what corporations need: mindless automatons to fulfill simply delineated tasks. That's what corporations are designed to serve and to offer as "service", and families have fallen victim to that. The result of families like this? NPCs in real life. Morally void, destroyed, depressed, anxious, ignorant men, women, and "others". Now, because they have been destroyed and are no longer able to create meaningful opportunities for creative trade, these people are good at only one thing, demanding that someone else support them. Enter Socialism. This is the only way the NPCs can continue to survive.

Once they are trained in this way (TPTB literally control their survival), you can tell them anything, and in order to keep the food coming (and the free phones, too!), they will treat it as religious doctrine (which in precisely what it is, when examined from the angle of the function it serves). "Coronavirus? Well, the ones who I depend on for my survival have told me it's real. So it's real! And you and your statistics have nothing that could remotely dent my opinion on that, because you are not interested in giving me what I need, only taking care of yourself! You selfish bastard!"

Take this to the extreme (as is now actively occuring), and you end up with the wonderful slogan "If we can't have it, burn it down!"

This is the basics of where NPCs come from.

How do we survive it? Pray hard there are enough fully functioning humans remaining to overwhelm this segment of destroyed humanity. The demographics are murky, but God help us if there aren't enough.

Sure, there are legions of mid level profiteers, but I think my short answer about the agenda of the top levels is that it's about CONTROL. Control of people's speech, of actions, movements - of whatever they can get away with. As for motive, well check the psychology of the psychopath, the fear of the consciousless, and of those who have consciences, but are aware they are being swept along in the stream of psychopathic institutions.

The sheeple have been fed a diet of fear-porn for the last 50 years: Constant news on TV about crime, violence, disaster. FEAR. As such, the masses now carry this large mental imprint of IMPENDING DOOM that colors their view of things.

So when you show them: THIS IS YOUR DOOM, they expected it. Welcome it, even. They welcome it because the angst of impending doom from an unknowable, hidden, unforeseeable origin is worse than facing an identifiable, if invisible, threat. It is reassuring to them, like finding the cause of some "ill at ease" feeling. They have this "ah-ha" moment that "This is the bogeyman. Let's tackle the situation".

In a nutshell: Psychologically, the masses feel like they NEED this scamdemic because it is an excuse for the state of fear inculcated into them over the last few generations.

Covid wasn't an accident. It is a military grade contagion that was released to coincide with our election. Many Democrats are in bed with China and there is no doubt in my mind they all wanted and planned this because they have no way to beat trump in a fair election. So their only recourse is to steal the election by inciting fear and disrupting everyone's lives so that people get emotional and stop using their brains. Emotional people make bad decisions and are more susceptible to being deceived and influenced. On top of that Democrats have called in their revolutionary force to burn down cities and intimidate people into voting for them. This is all or nothing for them this election and people don't realize that they will not accept a loss in November. They must win either by the vote or by burning the country down.
