See what the top posts on the front page are. Post similar stuff and people will upvote it.

Get in arguments with people, they like bad attention.

Find niche subs you actually have a interest in, they have a different vibe to the popular subs.

Either way this is a website where you can share something you found or made, or post your opinions/ideas, or ask questions - by making a post. Or you can comment on an existing post. This website is divided into communities called subs, and you can access them by going to www.saidit.net/s/sub , change "sub" to the name of the community. If you like a post or comment, you can rate it "funny" or "insightful" (insightful = gives you knowledge or wisdom (putting this here since I am not sure what your native language is)) and it will increase the "score" of the post/comment by 1 if you vote "funny" and by 2 if you vote "insightful"

I like to browse s/funny and s/asksaidit, and the front page too. The front page is where the most funny and/or insightful posts from your subscribed subs since previous 1-3 days are gathered. Go to s/all to see posts from all subs (not just the one subscribed)

Feel free to drop comments. Everyone here is nice, unless you like Jews or stuff.

How to make friends? Well I have had a problem with that my entire life so ping me by typing u/johnnybravo when you find the answer to that question. There is no concept of 'friends' on this website as such, unlike Facebook. If you like someone you can send them a PM (idk if they will appreciate this though)

Are you lonely? Well call someone you love, and after you've talked you can partake in the saidit IRC. It is to the right of the screen if you're on desktop. It is active sometimes, I've only seen it active once but if you post something people are likely to respond.

Maybe not here yet, but I've made friends on reddit. You can't really do it on the big subs because everyone is so anonymous and forgettable there but on smaller subs when you get to know the same people posting over the years it happens.

Absolutely. I mean I only visit the mainstream subs but even there I keep seeing the same 3 or 4 users all the time. You could make friends if you wish

This is not like FB, where one would accumulate friends or family to share with. It's more like reddit, mostly for sharing information or opinions and getting feedback from whomever views it.
