It's fine to use centralized sites, but it's important to diversify. You never know when your favorite website will be next.

Reddit used to be a fun website to visit.

Yep, remember when it was so small everyone knew that one guy who was "supposed to be doing his homework"? Then that weirdo Bozarking came along with his nonsexual and silly reference to Cameron Diaz in that (I think) first comment to get 4000 upvotes.

Ah...

That comment was a huge Reddit phenomenon, won Comment of the Year 2009, gave birth to several memes and got almost 4k Karma before Mr. bozarking deleted it.

I'd like to contend that thedonald.win has such a high rank because of the large number of Cambridge Analytica shills and bots that work there. It didn't have a fully organic growth pattern. Similar to how reddit's numbers are driven by the large number of Shareblue and 50 cent party shills and bots.

Me too, but they didn't separate them as much as they should've. If/when we do additional sites to saidit, each site will be completely separate, maybe even on different server companies. Seems like the smart thing to do, rather than put all your eggs in one basket.

Unfortunately, it seems to run slow, and being orginally "the donald" I won't be surprised if it remains the source of constant DDOS attacks and brigading.
