Jason, the guy is a serial ban evader and does nothing but start shit.. I should know.

He's directly going against major rules of the site and making every attempt possible to stir things up here, and it's working when any attention is given. It's not worth the time investment. It will run off current and potential users, it's just gone on too far and long. To keep anything that the poster puts here up is to basically let him walk all over the site's admin system, and it makes things look weak on our end.

Agreed. But IMO we need to study their tactics. They've been trying (and failing) to psychologically demotivate and manipulate me for days. They've also been exposing their tricks. I can see how some people have gotten very upset by them, and I've even been suckered in, but with experience comes wisdom and defenses. SaidIt needs /s/InfiltratorWatch or something like that, maybe not a sub, but some way to train people to be aware of their shit.

Yes, I've been largely absent for a month and a half or more (back pain), posting but not interacting, but SaidIt has not fundamentally changed aside from a few bans and my new awareness of this campaign as described by M7 upon his return.

Freedom ain't free. We need to fight for it. People need to know how to fight for it. You don't come to SaidIt for pictures of flowers and puppies. I don't believe being aware of and fighting trolls will run off users.

To keep a perfect example of their attempted psychological manipulation is critical. Now I can NO LONGER point here to show their tricks because it's been censored.

Bad posts are not uncommon and that does not reflect weak leadership. That's NOT new. I don't believe for one minute that keeping some examples to learn from reflects poorly on M7. But censorship does. There's a distinction between censorship and banishment. Ban the fuckers to hell but let their shit be a lesson.

Give me a fucking break. OBVIOUSLY I hadn't seen any of their shit before. I did NOT know. HOW the fuck is anyone ELSE suppose to know if there's not an example, or more specifically, a good example IMO that we can at least point to. I don't mind being the goofball who fell into this trap as long as it serves an educational purpose. THAT was the very reason I bothered to counter the their bullshit and why I asked for THIS one NOT to be censored.

I do NOT want to run SaidIt. I/We want SAIDIT to openly run SaidIt more democratically, under your wisdom, guidance and veto.

Bonus: I do NOT want a pure democracy that can be gamed. I, and others like me, want you to pick your team to help you.

I recently gave away 20+ subs and invited a couple dozen of the best people, to my knowledge, I know of here, not intentionally overlooking at least another dozen.

I'm sure you've got your faves. Start there, ask them for their faves, discuss and collaborate and reach a consensus. There's no shame in being dismissed from that team as it should be an honour for anyone to even be considered. With a consensus of 100% agreement, you can develop your own policies of how you self organize and such - and you obviously have veto power which I would hope you'd justify assuming you ever use it.

With or without me as team advisor, as you see fit. I'm not reliable nor regular in general, and soon I plan to be doing other interactive community building projects on SaidIt that are not current-events-based. I can't even keep up with current events now.

None of this is new. I wouldn't keep saying it if I didn't believe it. If there's something better I'd be repeating that.

Now who's trolling? I've never had a breakdown. I'm bipolar. I have moods. It may not matter to you but the distinction is profound and clear. In a nutshell, pun intended, I had a life, 2008 crash and Big Pharma stole that, I crawled out of that and survived. I'm much poorer but much stronger and more confident than ever now, and like before all that, accept my strengths and weaknesses, though now I'm much more informed about mental illness, as well as the levers of power.
