i have copd..

i have smoked way too much during my miserable life, and now i am going to pay for that foolish mistake..

over the last few years, my lungs condition has deteriorated, my breathing has become more and more difficult.. and then i woke up a few days ago and i was literally suffocating.. i got put on oxygen and immediately i improved my condition and the ambulance took me to the hospital where they prescribed an albuteral inhaler and prednisone tablets..

they basically told me that i have two options..

1) suffocate to death.

2) suffocate to death.

i cant decide which option to choose.

I'm sorry to hear this man. Are you still smoking? It's never too late to start vaping. It's like 60% as good.

Sorry to hear as well, but once you're on oxygen it's time to stop.

Oxygen is also flammable, fires have been started from people on oxygen smoking.

Physical addiction is done in about 2-4 weeks - it's all mental from there. I'm now quit for as many years as I smoked. I quit cold turkey and just found myself thinking, oh it's a nice spring day, think I'll go have a smoke, oh wait I don't smoke anymore - for about every situation that I would smoke. It took me a couple years to get over the psychological. I still go out, but I have a piece of fruit and enjoy the sunshine now.

I quit using Chantix back in 2006. Best decision I've made but whoa Chantix really fucked me up. I basically would randomly stop breathing, as in, forget to breathe. I'd sit there, over and over and gasp for air. Awake, asleep, it didn't matter. Took years to stop but man is it better than smoking.

I care for someone with copd. Look into some pills called 'clear lungs extra strength' you can buy on Amazon I think Also take Mucinex DM.

Fuck, I'm sorry to hear that. I smoke too much too, copd is a concern. That's how Leonard Nimoy died.
