      I have mentioned women shouldn't be allowed to vote. That's bound to be unpopular with over half of everyone. I mean maybe not here...

      I also belief things would have been better if we did nothing with the pandemic. Just ignored it. And also if it killed way more people. It would be painful but there'd be a lot of opportunities for the survivors.

      That is incorrect. Allowing natural infections would provide broad spectrum protection and prevent mutant strains from infecting those with antibodies. The jab provides very limited protection for only 1 spike protein, which is the part that mutates the fastest. This creates a very fertile ground for any mutant strain to rampage across.

Allowing natural infections allows the virus to cause significant damage to many of those who've had it, killing a small portion of them, and allows the virus to spread and mutate. This happened - for example in India, where the Delta variant developed.

      If you cant find a fixable problem to sell, you make one. Sure, commercial code may have started its life as clean simple code but after you throw in some board of directors stupid ideas and some marketing junk you end up with a bloated, ugly mess of hurriedly implemented patches and half-arsed hot-fixes.

      I have been programming for a long time. There are ways to manage management. Just build into estimates time to clean up code, and your code will stay clean.

      The real problem isn't management, the problem is modern programmers, all of whom are vile human scum. The proof of this is modern open source code, all of which is disgusting crap. Show me any modern code that is as clean as my code. There is none that comes close.

      By "modern programmers" I mean programmers who are part of modern culture. Modern culture is not a race, so this is not like racism.

      Since there is no objective measure of programming quality, there is no way for great programmers to rise to the top. In fact the opposite is true. As Isaiah 5:20 says, modern scum call bad good and good bad. So in any area without objective measure, anyone who is great will just be ridiculed and condemned.

      I like meatballs alright. I never crave them though and I probably haven't had one in like 10+ years. My issues with meatloaf are the texture (baked/crispy ground meat is just not my thing) and the ketchup.

Just searched for 'meatloaf types' and got pages of "15 recipes that will change your mind about meatloaf" and etc. lol

      It's not like anyone needs to eat meatloaf, but the bit about ketchup makes me think there may be meatloaf options you haven't tried yet. It's probably been 10 years for me too, but I'm suddenly craving meatloaf after reading the above comments.

      Think about a juicy slice of hot meatloaf smothered in brown gravy with mushrooms. Maybe with a smooshed baked potato right beside it so it's easy to scoop some up with your piece of meatloaf. But this meatloaf is made with the good recipe, and no ketchup is allowed!

      You are right about my limited meatloaf experience. I've only had my mom's and I disliked it so much I never wanted to try any other versions. I'm going to continue avoiding it for the foreseeable future but if AmericanMuskrat brings some to the saidit meet and greet, I'll try a slice.

      Definitely not red anymore. I think she must have feared undercooked meat. Mainly it was just a pan frying issue, as roasts and other cooking methods were fine. But I do remember the numerous hockey puck qualities some of those steaks would have.

      It might have been the type of meat too. Sometimes the real lean steaks shrivel into expensive leather strips, especially in a pan. There's a trial and error process sometimes with steaks that's a pain in the ass.

      Eugenics isn't a bad thing when it comes to removing serious impairments and disabilities from the gene pool. If I'd been born with a serious impairment or illness, either immediately or manifesting when I got older, I would rather my parents not have had me, and I certainly wouldn't reproduce knowing my children would likely have the same issue.

      As it stands, I was born with a minor disability and it's been a huge pain in the ass my whole life. Nothing serious, and I'm almost normal, but not quite, and given how much suffering it has caused me and that I'll never, ever be like most others, I can't even imagine what someone with a serious disability must go through each and every day.

      Along those lines, seriously disabled or otherwise highly impaired fetuses should be aborted. That's no kind of life.

      Most people in modern society have chronic general health issues, or specifically issues with digestion.

      It's known that even simple constipation allows some leakage of waste material back into the blood stream. Add that to beating the shit out of your digestive lining and it probably just worsens the effect.
