Oh wow I was sure the sub was hacked. Why would you shut it down just because of a simple disagreement, with mainly one person? I read those posts and I've no idea how they warrant this "drama". Hope the mods calm down and allow things to go back to normal.

[–]spicebutton 14 insightful - 6 fun14 insightful - 5 fun15 insightful - 6 fun -  (12 children)

The moderator of that sub is a bisexual woman who for the past year has made it clear she intends on just extracting as much gay/lesbian energy as possible into her fantasy incel utopia of a bisexual world...at the expense of gay people.

Her politics constantly conflicts with homosexual politics, which is "leave us alone" and hers is basically just about dating politics and dating grievances transformed into politics (sort of like most of the guys on this sub). She also has conflicts with gay people and anyone who points out how her insane radical feminist type views arent conducive to actual gay rights.

This would be the 50th time some lesbian left but this time and every time this happens, they cant imagine a lesbian not being as retarded as them in their man hating politics so it must be the illuminati or some psyop...even though this would be lesbian #50 doing this.

That sub has slowly been refined into pure bisexual women incel energy since all the gays and lesbians left.

Huh? I have not noticed that from the mods in that sub at all...

It flies under the radar, but I've spoken to the people who have been banned and you can see the patterns in her comments, especially her comments on s/bisexuals.

What in the hell happened? I hopped on after a bit of a break and now the sub is restricted and now there’s no place for us to talk anymore?

Frustrating.

[–]usehername 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

I guess there was a recent conflict where a lesbian got in a huge argument on the sub because she said lesbians don't have sex with men and other users were saying some lesbians were neutral about it and accusing her of looking down on "non-goldstars" who had suffered through it, but she wasn't objecting to the fact that some have forced themselves to do it, rather she was objecting to the statement that some lesbians are "neutral" about sex with men.

That broke the camel (Tumbleweed)'s back and she essentially banned everyone and let only a couple choice users who had never disagreed with her and prostrated themselves to her back in. So s/LGBDropTheT is now a bisexual circlejerk sub.

There is s/LGB_Discussions, which I'm hoping becomes more active.

I've just been back from a 1 year break from that sub and so much has happened... Jeez. If you can (or even pm me), can you tell who specifically this is? I wanna come back, but I also want to stay away from that person too. I'm assuming it's Tumble, as said from another comment?

[–]usehername 2 insightful - 3 fun2 insightful - 2 fun3 insightful - 3 fun -  (0 children)

It was Tumble, yeah. I really hope you can get in, but a ton of people who used the sub frequently are saying they can't get in, so I'm not optimistic about your chances.

The gays should make their own sub and move.

They obviously are happy for someone else to do all the mod work but then the people with an agenda or control issues will all always self select themselves.

[–]spicebutton 11 insightful - 6 fun11 insightful - 5 fun12 insightful - 6 fun -  (3 children)

The gays did all the work and did move. Apparently they forgot to push you out since you not only invited yourself into their movement, but also victimized yourself as martyrs by revising history to incorporate yourselves into their communities and their history. How exactly are you any different than the TRA's?

Maybe the AGP truly are women since they perfectly capture your narcissism and imitate it perfectly. I guess staring at a mirror is what enrages your type.

And what mod work did she do besides censor every single gay and lesbian person that didnt clap like seals for her stupidity? So not only were you irredeemable pieces of shit, but you want people to celebrate you being a piece of shit as hard work? lol Again, you make a perfect case for AGP's being a perfect imitation of the psychology of non homosexual women.

So gays are "MisOgyNisTs" for leaving that sub. Lesbians are...what? How's that work into your victimhood narrative? What's left now? A bunch of bi women with no Gays or Lesbians to latch on to to appropriate their issues and exploit them for their silly project of "men bad"?

Enjoy that shit show on ovarit and gender critical, where their very presence delegitimizes criticism of trans ideology. One side was concerned and sympathetic towards children experiencing gender dysphoria because of gender ideology (gays and lesbians). The other side seriously thought lying and calling everyone a rapist and pedophile was an effective strategy because apparently you think calling people "miSoGynIsts" would be so devastating to their movement. And now we're associated with you. Thank you for that. Even your own people, straight and bi-het women, roll their eyes at you.

Every.Single.Piece.Of.Criticism you have made was wrong since your worldview insisted on centering women as the primary victims. That was the nature of your rhetoric. That was it. You saw a problem and were never looking for a solution to end transexualism. You just wanted to prioritize yourself as the primary victim of it.

So all your rhetoric was built around pretending to be victims of AGP men and how trans ideology is about men trying to rape you. And it broke down since the majority of transitioners were straight women who fetishize gay men.

I literally don't ever use that sub, genius.

And you only went and posted and essay of nonsense pulled from your arse, hilarious.

You made my day.

“Hilllarious!” Of course you don’t. You’re different. You’re unique. You just happen to have all the same exact flaws as them judging by the nature of your comments.

Or maybe you’re the one to save all of them with your unique personality that’s absolutely different from every single one of them.

I am 100% straight. Not homophobic, don't care if people are gay, but I personally am repulsed by the idea of doing sexual stuff with another man, not aroused.

I do not want sex with a man, I do not like them Sam I Am

So you're saying if you met a hot girl with a cute face and a tight ass, you wouldn't be aroused? When if you then found out she was a femboy? Can't take that boner back, can you? Most people aren't 100 percent straight.

If my arousal is triggered by what my brain thinks is a woman, that isn't gay. It's only gay if you are still aroused when you know it isn't a woman

Nope. Up to 2% of people are bi, no more.

Except you're cherry-picking. More recent polls put the numbers around 20-30%. But I guess those people "don't count" because they're "probably mentally ill or something" as if mental illness can change your sexuality. I have news for you. If you experienced a "change" in sexuality, you were never straight.

When I went to gay or LGB/LGBT bars and dance clubs, and was later a university student life was like this. From a social aspect it was super fun but I got bored of it by my late 20s as did most of my LGB/LGBT friends and peers. Even LGB ghettos get boring and very cliquey and I am glad I never moved to the SF Bay area.

        [–]PriestTheyCalledHim 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

True, I have read how at least 15% to as high as 40-45% of people are bisexual. Gay/homosexual people do exist but not in as large percentages.

I read the comments, the "gold star only" gay men and lesbian women are odd. I have gay male friends who as teens or young adults in the 1970s or early 1980s had sex with women as they had no idea how to meet bisexual and gay men as sexual partners-they were in denial, closeted, or scared and too young to go to bars and did not even buy or read gay/LGB magazines or newspapers to place personal ads or porn magazines, or out of familial/societal pressure dated and had sex with women, they told me how sex with women just showed them how they are not sexually attracted to women at all, any woman. They did not find sex with women nasty but it was basically little better than jerking off or masturbating with someone else's body and they had to think about men, male bodies to get hard, stay hard, and finish.

Another friend is a "gold star" gay and he really dislikes the whole "Ewwww a woman!" Attitude some gay men have.

I guess I would be a "gold star" bisexual as I have never had sex with anyone trans.

        [–]spicebutton 10 insightful - 1 fun10 insightful - 0 fun11 insightful - 1 fun -  (5 children)

90% of gay culture is either self deprecating humour or just making light of certain things. But non gays (the other letters) come in with this colonizing mentality of trying to invade, infiltrate, attack, victimize themselves and that's the prism in which they view things.

"Gold Star" was just a joke that gays started and then lesbians adopted. It was just a thing to see the progress of the gay community and how quickly they were de-brainwashing themselves over their compulsive heterosexuality and figuring out whether they had any attraction to the opposite sex.

The ones who figured it out quicker or not even being victimized by the brainwashing to have been misled into having sex with the opposite sex...got a gold star. That was it.

And what did the bisexual women do? "Those fucking lesbians! And gays! with their EVIL ways! They're oppressing us...the bisexuals! This term doesnt include me!"

Gays and Lesbians even make fun of each other. Gays make fun of lesbians for...being attracted to women. And lesbians make fun of gays for being attracted to men. What did bisexual women do? "Did...did..did you just make fun of US? US??? We're bisexuals! This is evil! Gays dont deserve any rights! We're being oppressed! My feelings!" So much garbage is being generated by bi-het women and theyre a cancer on the community. They know it.

So your understanding of "gold star" is being given to you by the interpretation of bisexual women who have a more sinister agenda when entering "the community". Their function is to encourage as much homophobia as possible until they get their way. And what do they want? For everyone to celebrate them as ultimate victims. It's just narcissists.

        [–]jet199Instigatrix 9 insightful - 5 fun9 insightful - 4 fun10 insightful - 5 fun -  (3 children)

Frankly some bisexual women are just people with BPD who are bi because they have no stict sense of self, boundaries or their own identity and so are disconnected from whatever real sexuality they have. Often they have been groomed and abused to put others needs always before their own sexually and to use sex for personal gain then get pissy when they realise normal people won't do the same.

Amber Heard is a great/terrible example of this type.

Huh? You seem to have issues with bisexual women.

I first heard the "gold star" term from gay men who were super angry that before they were out they had sex with women, married women, etc.

I am not sure of your age but if you were alive in the 1970s-1990s or even early 2000s, and in the gay/LGB scene you would know that many gay men really dislike lesbians, want nothing to do with them, and are strangely homophobic towards lesbians. I don't mean in a joking way either.

        [–]usehername 5 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 0 fun6 insightful - 1 fun -  (3 children)

It is a joke, and for about 20 years I have heard the false claim from trans/TRAs about "Bisexual is transphobic! You must identify as pansexual or the slur queer, and you must fuck, date, and marry trans people!"

I'm not sure why the mod "went nuclear." It lasted for about a day in a half, and it didn't spill out into other posts, it was mostly directed at me, and she only messaged me twice to take my stuff down, and had very brief dms with me later on. The later messages we had in dms she didn't seem as if she was completely pissed off or anything. I'm not sure what happened with her. Or why she would have been this upset over any of this. Some here are saying she's an incel, idk I never really interacted with her before.

The part of "One woman was talking about how some lesbians take a while to feel comfortable admitting they have 0 interest in men" isn't exactly true. It was one user having a very different conversation from my post with me over how she slept with men and how she has "lesbian" friends that suck dick when they're drunk, she then asked me when I came out, I answered, mentioned how I've never been with men, and that seemingly set off a wave of users there talking about having sex with men and other things. The post I made wasn't about any of this, it was just about the user platypus saying there were "two types" of lesbians, one being fine with sleeping with men. But, other users began hounding me about sleeping with men, and one user started asking me about how not all lesbians are revolted about dick and why I would have a problem with that. Dicks weren't mentioned at all, I'm still not sure why she thought about that lol. This kept going and I did have a break down, as shown here, because at the time I had no idea why I kept getting wave after wave of comments some of them were like interrogations, some dms asking me about very personal details, others were claiming I said things I didn't say, and others were accusing me of hating them. Whenever I replied back to those accusations the other person would move the goal post, and make it about something else, again. Looking back, it was the first one that commented the two paragraphs that derailed the conversation, and made it about something else, while I was still talking about the ovarit post. I, at the time, thought having a screenshot, and even a link to the conversation, on what I was referring to would have prevented misunderstandings but I was wrong. I got overwhelmed with the massive mob that was after me, many of them were my friends taking part in it. I'm not sure if it was the first or second post but one of them got to 70 comments. I made a post explaining the situation, but TumbleweedFireflies in a couple of minutes took it down, and said "You don't accept anyone other than "gold star" as being a lesbian, and that's OK. But you don't get to bring that battle here. You don't get to throw a tantrum when others have compassion for late-bloomers, you don't get to blame lesbians for internalized homophobia or comphet, you don't get to prescribe intent and put words in our users mouths that they didn't say, and you sure as hell don't get to invalidate lesbian struggles growing up and recognizing their homosexuality just because it didn't match your timeline or awareness. You can be true to yourself without gaslighting everyone here..." Again, as you can seen in the screenshot it was about "there being two types of lesbians" that I was talking about, not anything she mentioned. I wasn't even thinking about the gold star stuff, I never even talked about it before this mess happened, I wasn't talking about any of that with the original post. She allowed my angst post on how I don't want to be a lesbian anymore to stay up for a day and a half, in which several users there were saying they were happy about, but my post trying to get the mob off of me was taken down. I think I have my defense post saved somewhere. I tried to get the post back up because the messages got worse, and that the mod was accusing me of saying things I didn't say, and the one person that was on my side messaged her about it. She accused him of being me, and instantly banned him. Afterwards, I don't know what she did or said. I don't get why she went off. Or why she even cares.

But, I was surprised when my friend messaged me about the sub being made private. It didn't effect the group at all. It's not that big of a deal.

All of this from one post I made about two short comments I thought the group would have a laugh at. Despite all of the hate I've gotten, I do hope the group is brought back, hopefully not with the incel mod this time. I still agree with the movement, even if that one group is filled with jackasses.

Anyway, thanks for reading. I wrote this out after seeing this, sorry if it's a bit all over the place.

*Edit: I forgot the mention in my dms with TumbleweedFireflies I said what she was accusing me of was slander at that point, and she agreed with it(?). Told me to get a lawyer. https://imgur.com/8WRcjlq

So, basically the same TRA thing happened, people becoming enraged that some women simply don’t like dick (“men” but let’s call a spade a spade)

        [–]jay-day 7 insightful - 1 fun7 insightful - 0 fun8 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Yep. I vividly remember as soon as I wrote I've always known, and I have never been with men, the avalanche of comments started. It still kind of hurts because several of them were my friends, they helped me when my insomnia was worse than usual, they helped me get through my grandfather passing away in October, and they would take the time out of their day to check up on me, but they turned on me so quickly. Even after I supported and defended the LGB several times for six months it still wasn't enough, the group just assumed I was an awful person.

The irony is that many people in that group believe they are better than the Wokies.

Awe I hate drama. That's the last LGB community I visit, even though I don't post much. Ah well.

I used to wonder how long the sub could last with how few active users it appeared to have. A lot of users here on SaidIt are anti-LGB, so it seemed that it would be hard for them to grow their userbase.

It seemed to be one of the more active subs on Saidit -- at least a lot more active than s/news.

Only used to be a few. I think you'd find most of us were formal liberals who believed in the cause at one point. It just didn't work well, we're seeing that now, and it's just a natural reaction. Probably will be a fairly mainstream opinion soon.

It's a cycle, happens every few decades. It has all happened before and it will happen again. Wait long enough and we'll swing back the other way.

True. I used to be for trans rights until children and teens started being told "oh you are sort of different...you are trans/non-binary and must take hormones and have surgery!"

Also that idiot dizzy drag queen Ru Paul claiming that drag queens, female/male impersonators are trans, promoting child drag queens, etc.

Or the revisionist history about the Stonewall demonstrations, it was not started by transwomyn of colour, nobody who is trans was there or a part of it, most POC LGB people were deeply closeted, and not out but it was like this for most non-POC LGB people as well then, and I know multiple people who were at the Stonewall demonstrations and the people there were gay, bisexual, and lesbian but not trans at all.

...the gay/lesbian community has been hijacked by your type. You do realize almost 95% of trans people are your type, right? Straight men destroying themselves with a lesbian fetish and straight women destroying themselves with their gay fetish towards gay guys?

          [–][deleted] 3 insightful - 2 fun3 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 2 fun -  (10 children)

has been hijacked by your type

My type, huh? That sounds like some discriminatory dogwhistling there.

          Straight men

Are you assuming I'm straight cause I didn't lead with my sexual preferences in a conversation?

          lesbian fetish

Bruh, I know real lesbians are manish looking.

their gay fetish towards gay guys?

I call my niece's friend her gay accessory. It takes two to tango.

          [–]spicebutton 8 insightful - 2 fun8 insightful - 1 fun9 insightful - 2 fun -  (9 children)

...it's not the "accessory" type that's bothersome to gay people. It's the army of straight girls like your niece who mutilate their bodies and "identify" as gay guys and remove their breasts. Theyre almost as large as the straight men who identify as lesbians and take estrogen pills.

These people make up over 90% of the trans community. Yes, your type. And no, you havent presented some revelation that gays/lesbians already dont know: that you're all a minimum of 10% gay, which is why you're called "bisexual-heterosexuals...bi-hets".

Identification with the LGBTQRS2+++ community has surged into the 50%-60% range in cities with no homophobia and it's the "bi-hets" who flood into these spaces and cause a huge mess. So fix your people and stop blaming your problems on us.

Based on this comment, I assume that AmericanMuskrat dislikes the LGBT.

the gay/lesbian community has been hijacked by your type

The gay/lesbian community has been hijacked by homophobes? I guess this makes sense if you say that it's been hijacked by trans people who say not wanting to date them is wrong?

You do realize almost 95% of trans people are your type, right? Straight men destroying themselves with a lesbian fetish and straight women destroying themselves with their gay fetish towards gay guys?

AmericanMuskrat is a homophobe with a gay/lesbian fetish? That was what I assumed you meant at first, but now I realize "your type" means "straight people" (does it?).

It's the army of straight girls like your niece who mutilate their bodies and "identify" as gay guys and remove their breasts.

These people make up over 90% of the trans community. Yes, your type.

AmericanMuskrat's niece is transgender? Again, I'm not really sure why you're bringing him and his relatives into this. "Your type" still just refers to straight people, right?

And no, you havent presented some revelation that gays/lesbians already dont know: that you're all a minimum of 10% gay, which is why you're called "bisexual-heterosexuals...bi-hets".

I'm not involved in LGB/T discourse, so the terminology here is new to me. Is this referring to the "accessory gays" in his comment? I'm not really sure where the "10%" comes from.

          [–][deleted] 6 insightful - 3 fun6 insightful - 2 fun7 insightful - 3 fun -  (1 child)

Omg, that's like your own people's doing and now you're victim blaming!? Also again with the assumptions.

So fix your people and stop blaming your problems on us.

Wow, there are literal nazis here who are better human beings than you. Kind of an accomplishment.

I do find "gay transmen" to be rather strange. Especially with how they seem to think most gay and bisexual men are like bad stereotypes of super camp/effeminate men when most gay and bisexual men are not like this at all.

More concerning is the homophobia/biphobic transmen and transwomen seem to tend to openly promote or make no secret about. Or one of the first "gay transmen" I met she/he had a homophobic/biphobic slur in Spanish tattooed on her body. Not to mention they are clueless about how to have safe sex to prevent HIV/STD transmission, take it raw, and then are completely shocked when they get Pozzed.

What about bisexuals like me who came out as gay/homosexual first in our youth as teens or young adults, but then in our 20s or 30s or later we realize we are bisexual and identify as such. It is not always easy to put bisexuality into ratios/percentages but we tend to go from 50/50 to 90% same sex/10% opposite sex.

Maybe you're too focused on what you put your penis into as being the sole reason to create identity for your existence. Stop jerking off and especially to porn. No, seriously.

lmao nice try that is not how it works. This was from puberty to young adulthood to my late 20s. I had sex as a teen but it was not with any regularity and when I could not find a sexual partner who I was attracted to I would watch porn or fantasize which is normal.

I actually do not like most porn and when I am dating, in a relationship, or have BFs and GFs and we have regular sex I do not watch porn and only rarely masturbate alone.

Lastly my experience is not rare or unique. I have met and known many bisexual men and women who like myself as teens or before our late 20s thought we were gay so we 'came out' as gay men and women only to discover how we are sexually and romantically attracted to both sexes/genders and are not homosexual/gay but are bisexual.

That's some weird and unnecessary drama. Seems like people got heated for no reason, I don't see why the sub had to close over it.

Absolutely great for lesbians who have always been confident in their lack of attraction to men! I am one myself, full gold star or whatever, but I don't think that makes me better than other lesbians who had a different journey. Some women unfortunately have to deal with pressure from society, parents, religion, internalized homophobia, etc. And they end up having to "grin and bear it" and sleep with a man before eventually coming to terms and accepting their sexuality.
