If you get caught leaving your dog in a hot car than your dog should be taken away from you on the first offense

If you leave your dog in a hot car, there is a chance he could die. This is why any dog found in a hot car should be rescued and taken away from his owner and placed in the city's dog pound, so that a loving family can come and adopt him.

The pound is full of unwanted dogs. Most get euthanized.
