    I can understand your preference EternalSunset, but understand that isn't consistent with the rules of the site which explicitly forbid that particular take but not my tabloid stories. If they wanted to they could make my tabloid type of story against the rules, I wouldn't complain, I probably just wouldn't use the site.

    Again I understand why you don't like my stories, and I respect that, but the mods can't even follow their own moderation guidelines, and that IS a problem, whether you like my posts or not. If my stories are a problem, they need to change the rules to reflect that, or we will indeed have curated moderation just like reddit, facebook and twitter without any accountability

    Your defense against your own posts being removed is fair enough and I can agree with, but your call for removing trident's post is what I'm not on board with. Frankly if it was up to me everyone would have radical free speech short of posting slander, actual child pornography, the nuclear codes, etc...

    I don't really want trident's post to be banned. I had a post banned about a guy who was put in prison for ordering a child sex doll and I said that it shouldn't be a crime to fuck plastic no matter what it looks like, so I'm more upset about the double standards than anything.

    Also, yes, I admit to weaponizing saidit users hatred of pedophiles to garner support for my personal crusade against soundsituation's moderation policies, I don't really want the rules around discussing taboo subjects to be this heavy handed. Perhaps that wasn't the right thing to do, it certainly seems like it was a bit of bad faith on my part, so I'll reflect on that

    You know what, you are absolutely right. In my eagerness to damage the credibility of soundsituation I ended up advocating for a position against the principles I'm supposedly making a fuss about and making trident collateral damage. I don't want to be that guy, and will approach this differently in the future.
