Then you can't use it to bolster your argument.

The argument was, is it ok because the bible does not specifically mention it? It does not specifically mention it. Does that make it acceptable?

Not everyone can receive this saying

Do you know who Paul was? Clearly not. If you were a Paul, and did the things Paul did and had to compensate for the evil he did, then this would make sense. Further, not all men will get married and have kids. This is completely fine and according to people like Paul, great. As far as I can see, you are pulling verses out of articles from the internet, without reading the bible in its prophetic order and understanding its context.

Obviously not, which is the whole reason for those strict cleanliness laws.

Show me where in the bible the purpose of those cleanliness laws are specified?

More forgeries.

No point discussing anything with you further. If you beleive the bible is a forgery, then there is no point debating it. Your only ultimate argument point is to prove the bible is real and even if I give you the full history of the written words, you still wouldn't accept it and say that those are just forgeries. So there is no point continuing. Everything I say is based in forgeries, I lose.

No, but it refutes any arguments trying to use the Bible to condemn it.

No, he gave that adivce to all people, not only himself. Unfortunately most human institutions would rather side with the fake Paul of 1 Timothy and Titus who says you will be damned if you fail to marry and have biological children. By the way, the first quote is from Jesus, not Paul.

I am the one reading it in context. If you don't believe me read the surrounding paragraphs yourself. And the older Marcionite versions were even more pro-celibacy.

This is stiff-neckedness. In no other instance do we need to be told what clean means, yet when it comes to God people suddenly lose all understanding. I suppose the thought process is, "well wait a minute, how did God define clean and unclean?". But that's a moot point, because there's nothing to suggest it means anything different than clean and unclean. But rules followed rigidly to the letter are easier for religious institutions to manipulate and exploit people with. Those institutions discourage reason to an absurd degree so everyone blindly submits to their ideas. This is what the Jews were doing in the first century, and it's what Christians are doing again today.

even if I give you the full history of the written words, you still wouldn't accept it and say that those are just forgeries.

The book itself complains about forgery within itself, Jeremiah 8:8 "How can you say, 'We are wise, and YHWH's law is with us'? Look, really the false pen of scribes has made it into falsehood". This was around the time most of the fragments that would later come together to form the 5 books of "Moses" were being written.

Go and find another hobby.

I take it I won the argument then.

There is no argument when your argument is: source text is fiction. So go and find something else to spend your energy on.
