As much as this would please me, this report seems awfully suspect. Elon Musk gave a statement to the Vancouver Times about this and nobody else, didn't tweet about it or anything, and nobody else covered the story, all despite this happening 2 days ago? Something doesn't seem right about this.

Yea, I find it rather suspect that the FBI would arrest one of their own as well.

Remember that time an audit found child porn on 40% of the FBI's computers and not a single person was arrested, or even fired?

    It seems Agrawal can sue the satire website for defamation. This isn't remotely appropriate as satire, IMO.

    I'm inclined to agree with you. The satire defense standard is that a 'reasonable person' (they mean an average person, who aren't really that reasonable) would recognize this as obvious satire. I don't think its that obvious, it didn't read like an article from The Onion or The Babylon Bee, and the Vancouver Times has real news stories on their site, it isn't a purely satirical publication. Also people do get arrested for this, two CNN producers are facing charges just like this, it happens frequently enough this is not obviously satire. I interpreted this as 'fake news' not as satire. Somebody fucked up letting this go to press, Agrawal can easily afford to bury them in lawsuits

    I knew Twitter is a mess with regular porn but I never knew it had a terrible child porn issue. It almost seems like Twitter just needs to be shut down. It serves no purpose other than being like the streets of San Francisco. I remember using Facebook's search capability and typed in something that wasn't sexual but I got all these responses that were and tons of profiles that were all naked Asian people. And I thought that Facebook had a no nude policy but apparently not.

    I could see this being a true story for becuase: 1. FBI cleaning house for a cover up, planting CP on his computer 2. He actually had CP since they let it run rampant on Twitter, and now the fbi is cleaning house for a cover up.

    Either way all I can find is the same story word for word on a couple sources, no real evidence of it happening.
