This meme is missing something crucial. The word "Government" is missing a qualifying adjective to complete the story.
It should say "Corporate Government".

The government doesn't care about most of the details on this list. It cares about popular support, and votes.

The business class has hijacked the govt through regulatory capture, and campaign finance.

Corporate power is the real enemy. Corporations are clever enough to masquerade as social benefactors; using the government as a weapon against the general public.

Thought experiment time:

Try to imagine this meme as a billboard in your community in its current form.

Some govt employees may be uncomfortable with it, but it probably wouldn't cause major issue, cause it doesn't challenge real power. Might make the local news in a superficial way.

Now consider this billboard with theCorporate Government qualifying adjective. Every politician would get a phonecall that morning from executives demanding the removal of that sign. The cops would show up at your home to encourage it's removal. The news would ignore it; suppressing the idea.

Government is a tool.
Corporate power is the real enemy.
