Propaganda typically persuades its audience to make extreme efforts that do not serve their interests. Probably Voltaire had political propaganda in mind when he wrote: Those who can make you believe absurdities can make you commit atrocities. I always recall that aphorism when I notice some variety of erotic fiction that relies heavily on implausible or impossible premises. Erotic fiction is not just incitement to masturbate: erotica is propaganda.
For example, the "bodice-ripper" genre is targeted at women. It presents erotic stories that are usually set in a pre-modern society with extreme social divisions between the sexes and extreme class hierarchy. The heroine typically starts off as pretty but otherwise powerless, and she succeeds at the climax of the story when she secures both sexual pleasure and social status from a high-ranking, handsome male. If these sexual success stories were strictly historical fiction, they would be telling the sleep-your-way-to-the-top biographies of a small fraction of the female population. In strongly hierarchical societies, it was indeed possible for some fortunate women to sleep their way to the top of society. However, many other women with similar circumstances did not find sexual or social success. The bodice-ripper is essentially a form of pro-sex propaganda that preaches: "Disregard your current miserable social position; go out, fall in love, have sex, you will eventually have a wonderful social position." Beyond the bodice-ripper genre, diverse forms of text erotica appeal to female readers. Fifty Shades of Grey is a famous example, but I refuse to read it, so I will leave its analysis to people with stomachs stronger than mine.
Softcore pornography movies targeted at both male and female audiences typically include unrealistic plot elements. The Hollywood movie Pretty Woman is another sleep-your-way-to-the-top story that disregards the common-sense observation that rich men seldom marry lower-class prostitutes with high partner counts. It might be possible to remake the story to reflect the real-world situation of upper-class prostitutes with low partner counts who marry moderately wealthy men. However, those upper-class prostitutes are a tiny fraction of the much larger class of modern prostitutes who do not marry happily. The moral of Pretty Woman is essentially "Disregard your current miserable social position; go out, fall in love, have sex, you will eventually have a wonderful social position." The moral of a realistic remake would be, "IF you start out in an upper-class home and IF you are adept at social manipulation and IF you can limit your pool of sex partners to wealthy men, THEN you can use risky, promiscuous sex, including prostitution, to advance your social status."
I very much enjoy 3D computer graphics when they depict subjects that are not disgusting. I do not have enough time to find non-disgusting 3D porn or else I would no doubt pontificate on its propaganda messages. I do note that 3D porn was recently noted in the Italian Senate.
Italian politics had its liveliest day ever, after a virtual meeting was hijacked by porn of Tifa Lockhart from Final Fantasy VII and Xiangling from Genshin Impact. It started during their virtual sitting, as Nobel Prize winner Giorgio Parisi was about to be introduced. Just as he was, though, the Italian Zoom Call was taken over by a user named Alex Spence, who suddenly shifted it to presentation mode, showing Tifa Lockhart getting it on in a porn scene ...

I have not reviewed the 3D porn in detail, but the Tifa scene appears to be fairly vanilla: one man, one woman, nothing that would look unusual as a sex scene in an R-rated movie. The Xiangling character apparently was depicted in an entirely separate scene.
Unfortunately, it is very easy to find a wide variety of 3D porn that I personally find disgusting. 3D graphics allow visually realistic fantasies regarding effortless sex changes, hermaphrodites, non-human tentacle monsters, succubi, etc. The artists who create those fantasies are often fiercely intelligent, and inject various sorts of propaganda messages into their work. (StudioFOW has a mediocre-to-poor PC porn-propaganda game, Subverse, in early access. Its rare moments of good writing do not justify its tedious subpar gameplay.) The messages of propagandistic 3D porn range from politically correct notions such as "gay men make excellent adoptive parents" to physically implausible fraud such as "Trans-sexuals can become beautiful and sexually potent."
Trans-sexual fantasies might be interesting to some people: I don't understand them. However, current modern technology can enable psychopathic surgeons to mutilate people. Furthermore, unethical psychiatrists often push impressionable young people to seek out such mutilation. Evidence indicates that the Wachowski brothers were driving themselves insane with entirely unreal and impossible fantasies of trans-sexuality before they mutilated themselves.

I would probably endorse 3D porn if I thought it could be kept within civilized limits. It might minimize the number of human actors who do real-world porn, and thus might reduce sexually transmitted diseases. However, I do not endorse 3D porn, because I suspect that no social force will arise to confine it to reasonable limits. I fear that it will proliferate and that it will spread highly destructive propaganda messages.
