I hate that tall people and attractive people automatically get to live life on easy mode.
submitted 1 year ago by Mcheetah from self.whatever
Women 5'10" and up, men 6'2" and up, and everyone who's at least an 8 out of 10 or higher, just automatically get everything easy in life, especially relationships, wealth, and social respect, and it all comes down to pure genetics. Shit's not fair.

Everyone has demons. Did you ever see what happens to the birds and animals that get free food through the warm weather? Same logic applies to people. Winter comes for everyone.

Do people like tall women? I kinda like my woman small and cute. She likes to feel like I'm a giant who can protect her and do whatever I want to her, and I like to feel like she's soft and small and delicate.

The try-hard nouveau riche like their women tall so she's easier to show off and you can kit her out with flash gear and show that off as well.

"Oh Charles, so good to see you again. Did you take your jet here?" "Henry, hello. Yes, I just got in from Madrid. How's your collection of cars famous people have died in going?" "Wonderfully, thank you. Have you met Sharon? She's my date for this evening." "Yes, I saw the runway using her as a windsock when we were landing. Very nice!"

Do people like tall women?
Non-tall men do. Tall men are really the only ones who don't like tall women cause tall men equate height with masculinity. It's science. Us short fucks under six feet don't automatically think a tall woman "is like a dude," so we don't have that issue.
Curious. I'm under six feet, but I don't like tall women... Well, that's not fair to say. Some tall women are still very beautiful, but I'd rather someone who was smaller than me.
I think your conclusion might be wrong. I think everyone equates height with masculinity. It's a masculine trait - we are, on average, taller than women. I could understand saying: "I'm so short I don't get to be so picky that I can exclude every woman who is taller than me from my dating pool"... And, to be clear, I think you'd be silly to exclude a women from your dating pool just because she's taller than you anyway...

Life's not fair and it never has been. The question is never how to stop bad things happening to us; that's impossible, against the laws of the universe. The only important question for each of us is how are we going to live our life in this asylum? How are we going to respond? That's the measure of character.

It's not that easy though.

Unless you're severely deformed, you can be good looking too. The height thing is overblown. Yes, women find tall men attractive. No, you're not SOL for being under 5'10 or whatever the average is. The 6' thing is a meme.
As for all those 8+ people, they work their asses off to look good, they just don't bicker about it because they see the satisfaction from it.

Attractiveness and height both indicate good health.
So you're screwed by your body itself not just society.

Trans people aren't screwed by their bodies.
Their bodies are fine and their mental health issues cause them to want to harm their bodies.
True.
But as little as can be done about my body, NOTHING can be done about my inborn mental illness. And I think it's worth harming the body some if it improves mental health.

The grass is always greener on the other side. You are over estimating how much those factors benefit them and overlooking all the blessings you have.

Most people can dramatically improve their appearance with some exercise and a better diet. That's about 75% of it right there.
Height is a tough one for men but it can be overcome with confidence and being in shape.
Nothing in life is easy. Most people you see that are a 8+ have to work and work hard at it. (The older you get the more this is true.)
Look at some of the youTube videos of women that teach makeup. In the before part of the videos most people wouldn't give them a second look. It takes time, skill and money to look like that. Very, very few people wake up in the morning looking like an 8/10.
My wife is big into this stuff. She has mega bucks invested into makeup. She is in her 40's but when she puts time into getting ready she routinely gets ID at bars, the liqueur store and at casinos in Vegas! (She is pretty happy with herself!) Point is she would have over $2000 worth of makeup, bushes, lotions and beauty supplies. For her to get ready your looking at 2 hours minimum. (That's amusing she is going all in. A regular work day she is about 45 min.)

You want to be a basic bitch and still expect hotties. You can do that at 6'3 you can't at 5'3. Work on your skills and communication then your height won't matter.

Taller are more likely to get cancer, diabetes, back injuries, etc. At certain heights you become limited to bedding, seating, transportation. Most budget electric scooters have a pretty low weight limit. More calories also need to be consumed. I don't see anything in the OP's post that makes sense.

All things being equal, you're correct. A physically attractive person has more potential for success than someone who is not. An attractive person that develops themselves is pretty much unstoppable. It usually balances out, however. Attractive people don't have to develop as many skills because things are easy enough without them. Eventually those looks fade or they meet someone who they like, but who expects more than good looks.
Women don't need to be 5'10". Women don't like being that tall and finding men tall enough to date and clothes that fit is a pain.
I’m not sure you are giving people credit for what they do.
