Netflix does carry some counter-culture content (such as Chapelle and Gervais.) I suspect they aren't a woke Borg like Disney, but are playing both sides. If go-woke-go-broke continues, they may stop making this kind of stuff, and seem positioned to be able to do so more easily.

If that's true, it might take some time to happen I think: There was certainly a time there where they were just dumping woke stuff on screen at every opportunity. If they are now starting to try and balance out the scales, they will be seeing a return on investment on some stuff and not others, but I suspect they don't want to risk alienating everyone by suddenly going: "Turning famous figures black, female and gay loses money, so no more. Ricky Gervais makes money, so more!"

If you do that overnight, you have a period where:

Right leaning Americans are still refusing your service for the historical revisionism you did in the name of the Left.
Left leaning Americans are now refusing your service because they see you as a talking head for the Right.

You have to ease your toe into the water, like a hot bath.

You should read 1984. It talks a lot about the important of controlling the narrative, controlling the past.

If I remember correctly, in the end Oceania becomes Eastasia ally, So now its written Oceania had always been Eastasia ally. It was the job of the protagonist to alter history to be more favorable to the party.
