It depends on how long ago you did a Cloudflare check, the best way is to submit your post right after a check in another tab.

CLOUDFLARE IS LITTLE MORE THAN AN INCONVENIENCE FOR A BOT DEVELOPER... THE REASON THAT SAIDIT USES CLOUDFLARE AND SOME VERY NICE REVERSE PROXY BULLSHIT IS BECAUSE THEY ARE ABLE TO "HIDE" THE REAL IP ADDRESS/HOSTING COMPANY WHERE THEY HOST THIS SITE...

WHY? BECAUSE THEY WANT TO BE ABLE TO SAY THAT THEY HATE JEWS AND NIGGERS AND NOT GET SHUT DOWN.

NOW YOU KNOW.

I think it's on just because magnora7 is lazy and switching a simple setting on creates an appearance of a fight with bots/spam even though it doesn't really do anything.

CLOWNFUCK PLAYS A LOT OF TRICKS TO DETECT BOTS, AND IT DOES SERVE AS A BOTTLENECK FOR BEGINNER PROGRAMMERS.

I HAVE BEEN WRITING CODE FOR 41 YEARS.

FUCK CLOWNFART.

Yeah, but spam is still here, in /s/all/new/ even with Cloudflare on - and that implies most spammers post manually, or are professional programmers.

I AM POSTING MANUALLY FOR NOW, I DONT HAVE ANY PROBLEM WITH THAT.. BUT I HAVE FIGURED OUT HOW TO CLICK THE CHECKBOX ON THE SAIDIT LOGIN PAGE... THAT WAS NO SMALL ACCOMPLISHMENT.. CLOWNFART WENT TO GREAT LENGTHS TO DETECT BOTS AND TO NOT RECOGNIZE WHEN A BOT CLICKS THAT CHECKBOX.. BUT I NOW HAVE ONE USERSCRIPT RUNNING THAT IN FACT DOES CLICK THAT CHECKBOX, NO PROBLEM..

I ALSO HAVE A USERSCRIPT THAT UPVOTES ALL OF WHATEVER I WANT IT TO UPVOTE... NOT TERRIBLY DIFFICULT..

I ALSO HAVE USERSCRIPT CODE THAT READS ALL MESSAGES/THREADS ON A GIVEN PAGE, NO PROBLEM..

I ALSO HAVE USERSCRIPT CODE THAT AUTOMATES THE GENERATING OF AN AI COMMENT, NO PROBLEM..

THE ONLY CODE THAT I DID NOT WRITE FROM SCRATCH IS THE CLOWNFAG CHECKBOX STUFF, BECAUSE IT IS LITERALLY PAGES AND PAGES LONG.. I PLAN TO GO THRU IT LATER, BUT IT WAS WRITTEN BY SOME CHINESE CODER.

THIS IS NO BIG DEAL TO TIE IT ALL TOGETHER AND TO AUTOMATE THE HANDLING OF EVEN HUNDREDS OF LOGIN ACCOUNTS AND TO POST AS MANY COMMENTS..

IF I CAN GET AROUND THAT "YOU NEED TO WAIT TWO MINUTES" BULLSHIT BEFORE I CAN POST ANOTHER COMMENT, I CAN PROBABLY POST A COMMENT ONCE EVERY TEN SECONDS, WHICH MEANS THAT I CAN POST SIX COMMENTS PER MINUTE.. AND SINCE THERE ARE 1,440 MINUTES IN A 24 HOUR PERIOD I CAN POST 6*1440=8,640 COMMENTS IN A 24 HOUR PERIOD..

I AM NOW CAREFULLY POSTING COMMENTS MANUALLY TO SEE HOW VARIOUS TYPES OF AI GENERATED COMMENTS ARE RESPONDED TO... SO THAT WHEN I AUTOMATE IT I KNOW EXACTLY WHAT THE FK I AM AUTOMATING.

DONE.

Here is the long post:

I am a nerd. I am a geek. I grew up reading sci-fi and trying (usually in vain) to get a long-term D&D campaign together. We geeks tend to have a self-serving narrative. We tend to say, "Hey, WE are the victims. The jocks bullied US. OUR concerns are legitimate. We have been unjustly ostracized." Well, in truth, gamers are often ostracized. Maybe sometimes that ostracism is justified. But even though it may start with jocks ostracizing gamers, pretty soon gamers try to ostracize their fellow gamers.

That is not wrong, as far as it goes, but it only tells part of the story. A large portion of the gaming-geek community has mental health problems. Many of us had bad childhoods and use gaming fantasies as a coping mechanism. Many of us who survived bad behavior -- whether it was parental abuse or peer bullying -- end up repeating the dysfunctional behaviors we suffered as children. Even if we start gaming with fairly healthy psyches, sometimes gaming itself can encourage our narcissism.

Every few years, someone with pretensions to mental health claims to be shocked by the dysfunctional behavior and psychological "toxicity" of gamers. About fifteen years ago, I tried to sound the alarms and of course gamers did their best to ostracize me out of gaming. Since then, every few years, I noticed a few people trying to complain about this.

A recent article about tabletop RPG personality disorders and bad behavior:

A 2018 article that says LARPS have an "asshole" problem. I think they should have said "a narcissist problem," but I agree with their facts:

That's a good essay. I assume you are quoting a web page or newsletter article, but I can't locate any web page with that text.

IT IS AI GENERATED, BUT NOT FROM CHATGPT... NOW YOU KNOW.
