Is really annoying that the culture war over abortion means that feminists can't debate where it might be bad for women at all.

I've had one rad fem argue with me on here that the position should be no strings abortions for all, for any reason and anything thing else is evil. So I asked her if she supported women choosing sex selective abortions and she didn't get back to me. It's funny because rad fems are highly critical of "choice feminism" in literally every other area.

If the debate was taken or of the extremes we'd be able to talk about things like whether some methods of abortion are worse for women's health than others and make women's live better. I mean another think feminists go on about is how damaging the contraceptive pill can be, these abortion pills mess with your hormones in much the same way. Why assume there's no problems with one when you know full well there's problems with the other?

What kind of shitty abortion was that?

Other methods just physically remove the fetus.

In the early stages there's no point giving a woman an operation (which are always risky due to the anaesthetic) it's just a lump of cells at that point.
