I'm gonna talk smack about everyone who self-censors to stay on YT for the $$$

I have a new theory.

Frequently the second week of December is hit with a manufactured event (false flag, lone wolf, real victims and/or crisis actors, etc). It's enough to panic people yet is soon forgotten by the news cycles in the commercial frenzy before Xmas, then New Years, then back to work like nothing happened.

On Sept 10, Rumsfeld declared $2.3 Trillion missing. The next day it was history.

On Dec 10, YouTube will drop the hammer. Maybe the next day something will eclipse it. Or maybe the holiday cheer will preoccupy folks too much to bother.

I don't buy into magic numbers, but since I'm pulling things out of my ass, November 3rd was supposed to be a thing. I noticed, just in case, but never promoted it nor expected much. Maybe, it's a different 11-3. 2019-12-11 3am or 3pm. Or 11:03 am or 11:03 pm. Or... (I could do this all day - that's how silly numbers are.)

However it plays out, whether along my lines of reason, or some other corporate strategies, I'm quite certain that YouTube has picked that specific date for very good reasons.

I sure would like to know why they're even bothering to warn us. They didn't bother before.

I don't know if all my "last minute" (two weeks) effort is just me playing into their manipulative distraction.

I don't see the relation to september tenth and the next day. I can see why they wanted to cover up $2.3 trillion. Youtube is already censored and sucks, them censoring it even more will not cause normie outrage.

That YouTube normie outrage would be muted if there were another epic event on Dec. 11. Maybe they blow up Seattle or Chicago this time.

I could see them doing another false flag soon, seems about time, but I don't see why they need to divert attention from youtube, it'd be to divert attention from something, something epstein related, assange related, something not going dems way in the impeachment inquiries, fed reserve doing some rate raising, etc

I guess I just don't care about youtube, maybe it's a bigger deal than I think.

It's about information control. The battleground is your minds to control your actions and allow their exploitation. En masse. If YouTube is doing it I bet Facebook and others will too. If the lights go out right before an earthquake will anyone remember who was at the switch? During the rebuilding all people will want is security and not care about the quality of light. And they would rally around the heroic president.

The internet is way more popular than television among the youth. Boomers are dying out. YouTube is among the biggest and where the majority congregate. The majority of people won't be looking for information elsewhere. People are generally lazy and not curious so they will settle. It's a big deal when you're herding sheeple.

facebook definitely. you can only post msm approved stuff. Let's be honest what kind of stuff are we talking about that they are censoring? I don't care about youtubers getting demometized, it's not a legit job anyway. But stuff just for info purposes. Pizzagate, 9/11, fake war propaganda, NSA, dem primary rigging, anti wokism that kind of legit stuff is what all gets censored it seems, either hidden or outright deleted off youtube. Good luck staying on fb long if you discuss it. 4 chan got shut down a while ago, not sure if it's come back. voat had a canary that died. Whatever that means. Who knows how long this site stays. It only has a few hundred active users anywya, barely a blip. Internet is almost dead. Like with music piracy. You can still do it but they effectively scared normies into not doing it anymore. Did they do false flags for each of these other events that slowly whittled down internet freedom?

[–]JasonCarswell[S] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (4 children)

I beg to differ. YouTube can be as legit a job as any. Some YouTubers are primo and far better than corporate media. There are too many great examples to cite.

Further, if you want to keep your fingers on the real pulse then you have to do research - and that takes time and energy and sometimes resources. A lot of people depend on these trusted (to some degree) alternative sources to do the leg work and bring intelligent context and analysis - AND be critical of the MSM corporate propaganda.

AND it extends faaar beyond the info-war. There are a lot of folks that do less "sensitive" content that is vastly superior to "normal" television - from DIY historical costumes to DIY off-grid living - from DIY software tutorials to DIY computer modifications. (I like DIY.) Name the interest and there will be some top notch content creators addressing that field.

I find it funny that the real pirates are calling "sharing" piracy, yet hurt no one.

I think youtube had a hey day where it was a legit job, same as working a tv show in the old style media really, putting on a show, getting paid for it. Adpocalypse seems to have slowed that down, most youtubers ask for other donations now. I guess it's a legit job but I don't get how they make money, who actually gives patreon money, seems odd, I never did nor met anyone that did. I like a few youtubers tha ttalk about history and science and I doubt they get much money from it, just do it for love of it. One guy that does music gear reviews, he says he makes no money off of youtube and has another job.

I think it is ok to call it piracy, now what was piracy really back in the old 1700 days, I think it got hit with a lot of propaganda and there were evil ones but mostly it was guys trying to do their own ting and avoid taxes on the seas. England, dutch company etc had controlled the water and they would make men pay taxes to just transport things around on a boat, stealing aka they were the real "pirates". So who owns the internet, like who owns the ocean? Who gets to control it? It is kind of similar.

I don't understand the financing of it at all. I hate dealing with money, but if I intend to be a successful content creator, and I do, then I'll have to learn it too.

Nonetheless, people seem to be doing it and doing it better than ever before - by themselves - free of the corporatocracy. Weather full time or part time or on the side - we are doing it. That's why "they" and (((they))) must shut it down.

Actually, a lot of the pirates, buccaneers, and privateers were working for their home countries and crowns - but because they were not "official" mercenaries the crown could cut them lose with plausible deniability - much like how the CIA operates ISIS now.

If you read Douglas Valentine's "CIA as Organized Crime" you'll see that everything the CIA does is ALWAYS to 1) gain power/money for the CIA and 2) have plausible deniability.

  1. (2016) soon after pizzagate youtube was exposed for hosting lots of sexually suggestive videos aimed at children (elsagate)
  2. (2017) youtube used the bad exposure as an excuse to start large scale censoring of videos while mixing in some of the actually bad ones to give the censorship cover (adpocalypse)
  3. (2018) youtube went overt with censorship and accelerated it to deplatforming/depersoning and banning alex jones, his videos, and videos that discuss him (kid and jew propaganda friendly)
  4. (2019) with censorship precedent set across all large and many mid size internet companies, phase 2 begins of making public internet only kid, and jew propaganda, friendly, and forcing everything else behind login. (auth walls)
  5. (2020+) phase 3 and beyond: further isolation of non kid and jew propaganda friendly content, attacks on vpns, internet id, isps introducing subscriber filtering blocking any traffic not open to deep packet inspection, etc

better fight (the non violent kind, fbi niggers) niggers

As it should be. So too with all things "cloud" related.

The cloud is not free. The cloud is a dream. The cloud is your freedom and they own it.

YouTube as a platform for discussing interesting and controversial issues is dead now

if you haven't already spend some time combing through key videos on youtube and save them locally. you can get a high capacity 2 disk + simple raid 1 enclosure for like $400 total. then upload vids to other sites occasionally

    [–]JasonCarswell[S] 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

I have a hard time buying a new 4tb drive every couple months. I have dozens now. I'd love to set up a server with a bunch of FreeNAS boxes attached. FreeNAS is better than raids, whether built yourself or bought prefab.

Our last chance against the technocratic corporatocracy, IMO:

It's my profoundly strong opinion that EVERYONE should have at least one server in their home, like any other appliance. Whether they maintain it themselves or not, that is how we can decentralize the cloud and information can remain free.

One of the biggest hurdles is creating rewards systems for those who host and those who share and those who make. How can you compete with the "free" cloud?
