These aren’t undergraduate papers. These are postgraduate dissertations. Plagiarism on a paper for an UG course is bad, but in a PG dissertation that is the entire basis for the awarding of your advanced/postgrad degree including PhDs is next level and should be grounds for immediate termination.

The fact that it seems to be so rife in the softer academic subjects is interesting, the intellectual toll is already lower than in the hard sciences/philosophy/economics/etc and plagiarism is just an admission that you lack the intellectual ability.

When I was in teacher training I had an idea for a cruel experiment, teach children who didn’t already know their left and right the opposite and see how it affected them growing up.

I very quickly realised that it would be straight up child abuse, as even that small lie would leave them unable to cope in the world.

But having thought that through brought me to the realisation that as a teacher (or parent) you have a responsibility to teach the children in your care about the world as it is and not the way you think it should be or wish it was, because doing anything other than that is giving the child a handicap.

I still joke with children in class, but when I have jokes with them I always ensure that I explain the joke just in case there are children that don’t understand (there are always children that don’t understand).

Thats a long way of me saying, yes, to wilfully mislead children about their sex, or about whether it is possible to alter one’s sex, is indeed child abuse.

Criminal Justice Act 1988.

United set up Aviate Academy to train pilots, and there’s suggestions that they’re not admitting the best and brightest but instead recruiting from the lowest performing Black colleges and from amongst cabin crew to get their poc and women stats up. They’re DEIing pilots, which I don’t think is such a great idea.

If you follow a few accounts on twitter like @eyeslasho and @cremieuxrecueil you might see why they need to offer courses like this for black college students. They’re admitting people with sub-100 IQs for affirmative action/equity reasons and are desperate not to have them flunk out in their first year.

I think you’d probably find high-IQ parents with a submissive father and dominant, cluster-B, Munchausen’s Syndrome by Proxy mother.

I say High IQ because this does seem to be most prevalent amongst the upper middle classes and I suspect high IQ people are more often more likely to be susceptible to the Dunning-Kruger effect, members of Facebook groups, be more “progressive” and want to show off their LGBTQ child.

This was known about at least four years ago, from experiments done on sheep which showed brain alterations on sheep given the blockers.

So the private doctors handing this shit out, the mothers transing their sons and the online groomers and paedophiles are knowingly giving children drugs that will stunt their growth, lower their IQ, leave them anorgasmic for life and potentially lead them down a route of neverending medicalisation with radical experimental and mutilating surgeries and taking exogenous hormones for life. You can’t base your moral principles on “transgression of norms” for all the reasons u/julienmayfair says, but as you say transgression can be a valuable way in which the cause of humanity is progressed. I think the answer is that “Transgression” is merely the tool, but the principle around which you build your moral framework should be human dignity, which is what we had done in the west until the rise of PoMo and critical theory. If we establish, as we had, that there are hard lines you don’t cross because they are counter to treating all humans with dignity (don’t rape children, don’t murder, don’t compel thought or speech etc) then you are still free to transgress social norms and boundaries, which is what great thinkers and artists have always done, but there’s a hard limit and importantly that hard limit isn’t derived from a religious tradition or arbitrary decision, so if you transgress that then either you’re going to face consequences or you’re going to have to try really, really hard to develop a sane and cogent argument to rationalise your transgression.

It’s a nonsense theory that allows them to justify their predilection for raping children and to call you a bigot when you say “Hey, maybe you shouldn’t be raping children!” or “Yeah, I don’t think strippers and drag queens are entertainment for kids.”

It’s becoming increasingly difficult to understand how the entire academic world and subsequently the world at large was taken in by the grifters of Critical Social Justice fields like QT, CRT etc, because scratching even the thinnest part of the surface reveals the most vile shit (paedophilia, racism, etc).

I know the tide is slowly turning, the troons and Hoteps really seem to have opened a lot of people’s eyes. But still, they ran the western world for almost a decade.

Queer Theory exists, in a nutshell, to antagonize norms, normativity, and the normal—that is, anything that can be considered normal by society (even in accurate, neutral description) and thus that carries or can be construed to imply a morally normative expectation about it, which it deems intrinsically oppressive.

It’s worth a watch if you haven’t seen it before, I’ve posted a couple of times here as have others.

Basically a lefty professor goes through all the leading lights of Queer Theory and tells you how they all promote or support paedophilia and how the paedo shit is the goal for Queer Theory.

TikTok banning it is interesting as it clearly allows the full gamut of QT fetish shit aimed at young people but not something educational.
