There is no problem in the senario laid out. All that's happening is some students are tutoring others, apporaching a woman is not harrasment, but the "solutions"in the comments are discrimination. Giving a project to the highly qualified students would only apply to males, so it'd be illegal and wrong. reporting those students for simply "shooting their shot"would be wrong.
