I don't know what the 'rate' is but hot topics being viable for over 24 hours (like 32) would be around the optimum, so if you don't log into it +- a day you still get the best.

Maybe a quicker refresh rate for 1-5 insightful votes, or downgrade the 'funny' vote for hot might also be things to look at.

pull ur app boys, time to boycott f-droid by Broken-needles350 in SaidIt

The censorship Gab has faced from those in the Fediverse directly conflicts with the Four Essential Freedoms of Free Software which people in this community supposedly uphold. Most notably, censoring Gab goes against the first of these freedoms – “the freedom to run the program as you wish, for any purpose.”

How does F-droid not hosting the gab project oppose 'the freedom to run the program as you wish, for any purpose.'? You can still run it all the ways you would like it to run.

F-Droid is the one making use of the zeroth right: They choose to run their hosting service the way they like it.

The whole article seems to be written by someone looking up FOSS on wikipedia for 2 minutes and being frustrated that someone/group dares to have their own opinion (lol, free speech) about something.

Gab has responded to F-Droid’s decision by branding them as cowards and announcing plans to fork F-Droid’s repository.

Yeah they are total cowards for having their own opinion, boo!

The statement of F-droid is cut short in this analysis before it gets to:

We think, however, that one needs to differentiate between platforms and tools. By its very nature, free software by definition allows users “to study how the program works, and change it so it does your computing as you wish”. Because of this, any restriction implemented in free software is basically ineffective, because people can modify the source code and remove those restrictions. We respect Tusky’s decision to block mentioned website; it’s their right to introduce restrictions like these into their software. We also respect Fedilab’s decision not to hardcode a login block; instead they are actively working on making it easier to block certain domains in the app itself and thus giving users more power to moderate which content they’ll see. If people disagree with F-Droid’s decision not to flag Fedilab, a idea is to develop a decentralized tag system based on package IDs which allow third-party servers to share their own warnings with their community.

Can't argue just downvote by x0x7 in censorship

It's not related: it not an article from the Real world that is so weird you would it to be in/on the onion: unrelated is an objective and fair assessment. (the lame part might be viewed by some as subjective, though minions memes are universally hated.)

If this requires community input this site can shut down because everyday spammers get deleted and even banned without community input from more than 1-2 members of the community.

I'm saying it was unjustified

While 'love' is such a feeble construct when used as a noun: misused whimsically as promotion, propaganda and worse.

It becomes clear roaming this site that 'love' in the context of this Original Post is meant as a verb: It's the actions we all take, the reactions we make, and of course the whole HW and SW to make it all happen in the first place. The last in the equation are named last because they tend to been only seen at the beginning of the journey and taken for granted while traveling the saidit road, while they should leave a gong-like vibration when entering and leaving. Of course it should be noted by the layman that with the HW and SW there are the maintainers, it's nothing but some bits on a HD when not executed, run and 'patched' by the maintainers.

I hope and think that the usage and occasional complaints are taken as part of the verb dubbed love.

My flesh incarnation has sought long and wide for something to express it's journey of (almost a year now) into something easily transmitted over the /s/Internet and I did find something: someone to illustrate it through all the things that came and are to come..

Though (if you can speak of it as one, it's more splinters with a same-ish philosophy behind wildly different practices) it's not based on worship nor on absolute 'texts of truth'. This makes dialogue, criticism and rejection a thing this sort of religion can take without getting mad/murderous.

I like this (I'm not sure, like yourself) but it pins it down a WHOLE lot more. It's like zooming in on a castle of Sadam instead of saying 'Iraq has WMDs' you got a (highly) probable dick in sight.

If saidit was THE tool to knowlegde: You and mag7 would be the Guru's, you guide everyone through the steps of handling 'the saidit' for which you're appreciated and the role a guide/master/guru should have (you can point things out but the realisation has to come from within). But when you reach up my skirt or order me (or any other) to suck whatever you got down there you're a horny piece of shit which I wouldn't trust with flushing my shits.*

*Also other unearned authoritarian stuff. But you two) can be authoritarian when you explain how you use or how you percieve the code working for saidit. I could go "Aww man that's shit" but that dissagreement doesn't make you a piece of shit in anyway, in fact it would make me a piece of shit for calling you a piece of shit over that sort of disagreement. Now that whole dynamic (which hold a LOT more cases not discussed but you can conjure them up {Or is your conjure level not up to level :p }) is healthy but if You or mag7 got a rain tumor/injury it could easily change and all your (not saying you all are making a cult, this is {hypothetically} principles and your HC ({hardcore, why did I try to shortcut that anyway? :P}) following would change with your change... How (would) does that relate to the principle 'self/inward journey' that all of the occult ever was!?

It's (easy) to explain how one who 'traveled in the soul' has a better knowlegde of manipulating people, because we all start with the same firmware: just different hardware (though only the fuel/energy/consciousness is of the same source).

A cult is a scriptkiddie wrap: You gonna get busted (killed by your members or authority) and you didn't even know what you were copy/pasting.

[–]Mnemonic 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Heh I though frankism was a reference to the franklin(g?) thingie... before I read it.

Hmm yeah maybe. I'm not into personal cults, for the obvious reason of, well everything I try to preach.

That's also where (modern) Tantra-cults go wrong, the get a western following of 'woo-woo' people who think the (presumed) guru is god-like (instead of a teacher, and you don't FUCK the teacher ;)) and so on. But this is exact the thing 'cults'!

If the journey is inward, tell me , how the F&(&%% do you get into cults!? Money and sexual 'pleasure' (though this is debatable and I would be one of the front-runners to claim it's sex as Mc-Donalds is a hamburger).

BUT you can trace this also to political factions, corporate environments, (higher) education and you can sum up pretty much every 'group' you can imagine where these perverted hierarchies (sometimes, not always) rise up. It's power with a written or unwritten dictate of overwhelming authority.

[I didn't read it all, the article, but bookmarked it. It's more a historic thing than really of use in any esoteric practice, to delve into it for meaning: I do believe self fellatio is a better life goal]

You don't have to be elite/wealthy to rape children provided by organized crime, just book a ticket to Cambodia (for example).

I do agree (partially, as I don't see that as the whole problem) on the control part aka you (group) pressure someone into it to get dirt.

But that all, including the group pressuring in it, that's a better 'sniffing' out technique (aka the human condition via psychology/psychiatry) to seek these people out than to relate them to practices that deviate from the (yes I'm gonna say it) Catholic Church's guide lines for 'good' (and good being it's okay to rape/molest kids as long as you're clergy!)[Yes I know I did the Godwin of religions while other have the same problem (search for 'tantra' and you'll find a whole new eastern (inspired) rape culture)].

That's what I mean by "it's a human thing": It's not defined by esoteric readings nor 'weird' magic practices (which every practice in the 'east' is still for westerners, while it's mostly westerners raping child prostitues over there).

I'm trying to get across that defining this 'specific' group as just occult or 'whatever you wanna call the non-existent devil' is an empty lead, or at least one that's easily dodged.

Why many high profile people are pedos? by Snow in AskSaidIt

[–]Mnemonic 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

So it seemed kind of dismissive.

I can see that a bit, what I tried to do was explain who ehm weird/twisted it child/human sacrifice or sex-magic with unwilling participants. Now if you would only look up 'tantra' you will get more then enough derailed sex-cults with abuse based on 'sex magic', so I'm trying to explain the difference between 2 gun-nuts: 1 fires it at the shooting range and 2 fires it at his/her school: There is more to the difference that just noting the location.

I do share your musings in the last paragraph. Maybe one more thing about 'blood':

Blood as used by Jesus is a word that can also be translated to something in english best expressed as soul (only not linked to the ego as it is mostly used in english). In alchemic/esoteric texts there is the same usage of 'blood' which would give a whole other meaning to blood sacrifice, blood-bond, blood oath etc.

Now what if some random egdelord comes across a alchemical text about 'wealth' or 'eternal life' or whatever cool stuff they used to mask their knowledge of the spirit transformation? 'Oh okay so I need blood, a virgin and have my seed absorb it... So I kill a girl and jack off on it right?'

I did read a Shakti-tantra collection in which their was this ritual which did require blood, menstrual blood to be precise, wine and semen, mix it together and drink it. (Seems like that 'one week' of the month in the local swingers club) but yeah India and Hinduism do have some next level: LOL let's eat some roasted flesh of the dead and down a bottle of alcohol to get visions started mentality. (and I read a 1930ies translation to English so it could well be the translator having a cocaine fueled nightmare because handwritten Sanskrit is HARD)

To conclude: “With or without religion, good people can behave well and bad people can do evil; but for good people to do evil - that takes religion.” ~ Steven Weinberg

And magic is religion for the individual as religion is magic for the masses, it is a human that goes 'LOL I need to sacrifice/rape a human/child'.*

*most animal sacrifices are eaten afterwards, the sacrifice ceremony is a cleansing-ish ritual or thaning ritual. Even in the bible it's been noted that the priests (and if there is any left the rest of the clergy) ate the Jewish sacrifices. [Probably why Jesus isn't a 'cool' guy in that religion (because he is a prophet in Islam) he pointed out the greedy fat fuckers]

I can agree a lot more with this, but... :p

Occult == 'knowledge of the hidden' or (because of TV) 'knowledge of the paranormal'.

There are two (generally speaking) perspectives on how to view hidden: 'secrets among friends/members' and 'magic, ritual, etc. {or the will/thought of that occurring: aka you think you are doing magic and therefor perform rituals while you are not} '

Now the Epstein case is a clear 'secret among friends/members' thingie, fetish sharing, just the wrong fetish. (In earlier times certain knowlegde, even basic maths, could be seen as 'THE DEVIL' so certain groups held these 'secrets' hidden (occult) and the church didn't like that. That's why I clarify that the Epstein case (and pedoism in general) is a BAD thing to keep occult, while there are good things like math or... a surprise party for example).

Now for the magic part I recommend the latest higher-side chat: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M4xGJKKAMqk (Skipping the part about his jungle trip (double entendre) Gordon talks some real shizzle straight out of my mouth, although he's a bit to much going along with Greg's interruptions {about hybrids} but he's a smooth talker too and bends it over into a critique of AI/trans-humanism (not) taking over. I listened to it this morning because I was up two hours too early for work and while lying half asleep listening I thought I was dreaming when Gordon spoke about magic, rituals and the elite, defended Gnosticism and all.

Most sex magic involves (for men) either wanking, other men or (literally) MILFs (aka woman who gave birth) and is (in order) about aligning your will, relieving stress or guidance to where you would like to plant your seed.

Raping a child would be like "I'm a hacker" and with your windows machine going on some shady porn-site and downloading the 'virus-scanner' from the pop up. (or as /u/Tom_Bombadil suggested and I think also has merit: setting your self up for blackmail) To complete my analogy: Yeah! you did it, you followed the 'code' but the code was made by con artists... mwahmwah

It's like the story of Gilles de Rais : He listened to the church for how these 'satanists/devil worshipers' raised the dead and got their powers and went along doing exactly those horrific things the church said they did.

Why many high profile people are pedos? by Snow in AskSaidIt

[–]Mnemonic 5 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 0 fun6 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

That's just America's favorite 'It ain't me' argument. Putting words together that the church sees as evil and thereby creating a concept that only exists as an 'easy go to' rhetoric meme aka 'You know, the Bad guys...'

Because 'Luciferianism' is truthful about the personal journey and acknowledges that everyone practicing it can be either Demon or Angel (as a parable), much like the Zen-Buddhist claim, it's an easy scapegoat because many people are indoctrinated that their belief/way produces only angels.

Like wikipedia says:

Luciferianism is a belief system that venerates the essential characteristics that are affixed to Lucifer. The tradition, influenced by Gnosticism, usually reveres Lucifer not as the devil, but as a liberator, a guardian or guiding spirit, or even the true god as opposed to Jehovah.

and

Traditional dogma is shunned as a basis for morality on the grounds that humans should not need deities or fear of eternal punishment to distinguish right from wrong and to do good.

Instead off going on a rant about all the groups that claim to be 'literately the good guys because of this book we misinterpret and mistranslate all the time'

I'll give /u/Snow the credits for pointing it all out in his second paragraph in it's core it's a human thing and estrangement of society and/or local-society is a considerable factor in the 'getting the pedo vibes'. For Elite/wealthy families there is a dogmatic approach for a lot of normal interactions: They can't go drink in the local pub nor be seen hooking up with someone they like on a festival, that's bad for their appearance. A bit like the incel movement: They have such strict/absurd ideas about normal interactions that it's something that can easily derail into 'werid' shit because it has to be done in seclusion anyway.

But let's not forget: also non-elites can be pedos.

Well according to those Facebook policies he linked to the 'Dangerous Individuals and Organizations policy' is the following:

Policy Rationale

In an effort to prevent and disrupt real-world harm, we do not allow any organizations or individuals that proclaim a violent mission or are engaged in violence, from having a presence on Facebook. This includes organizations or individuals involved in the following:

Terrorist activity

Organized hate

Mass or serial murder

Human trafficking

Organized violence or criminal activity

We also remove content that expresses support or praise for groups, leaders, or individuals involved in these activities. Learn more about our work to fight terrorism online here.

Backtracking lead to not finding the dreaded:

(unless the target is an organization or individual covered in the Dangerous Individuals and Organizations policy)

sentence (or even a part of it) either (also not in a previous archive version of the facebook community guidelines he himself links to).

I guessed as much about the video, I like the Alex Jones bit because it is 'comic book' level PkD, and delving into the nature of language and all it's related.

Cheers, I'm just into part II of the book because Part I relates to so much more reading material, PkD is like picasso: It's not the truth at all but he points so many flaws out that it's more than interesting.

I didn't watch the vid (did see both elong and alex Joe interviews though) But if you like PkD, read his exegesis: The exegesis of Philip k Dick: A link, but the hard-cover is a thing to have man, under the dust-cover is a golden hard cover , EPIC
