One thing that people constantly fail to recognize is that Liberalism is right wing in terms of a hierarchical obedience to a version of meritocracy in which "experts" are correct. The problem is that this version of meritocracy is based on things like seniority and more recently, minority representation.

It really bit them in the ass with Dr Fauci. He was an extreme narcissist and ideologically bent on his own niche research field. Obama made it illegal for him to do that research and so he secretly outsourced the funding to China. Then when it obviously blew up in his face he just denied everything and acted with extreme arrogance. Similarly with trans issues, they decided that they would let the minority group itself be the experts for policy. A bunch of AGPs and fetishists got into the DSM review and changed the medical authority definitions of transexualism and removed "gender identity disorder" entirely. The thought process of best practice was basically outsourced and liberals decided that only the "experts" were allowed to have thoughts on the matter.

I've seen similar things with certain family members where if you started to provide an example they would actually tell you to stop talking about it because they didn't want to think about it.

These institutions will likely not want to apologize, they will point out how all the experts told them X for years but now the experts say Y. It isn't their job to question the meritocracy just like it isn't the job of a Christian to explain an obvious contradiction in the Bible.

I think it might partially be something else. Sex is a category specifically defined based on a species having the capacity to reproduce with 2 parents via haploid gametes to produce diploid offspring. The categories exist completely separate from humans or human social structures.

Said by people who are fully consumed by the social contagion aspect and if they aren't and they literally think they are the opposite sex then they have some deep psychological issues and the solution is "trust yourself" unless of course trusting yourself means not being trans, then assume you are.

This is a 30 year follow up study. Scroll down and look at figure 1. This has been out for a long time but it gets suppressed and if you bring it up there's a list of "but but but" related to changing the subject to "reducing dysphoria". The author of the study will also defend sex changes because this particular study never looked into reduction in dysphoria.

The issue is all the more modern studies which "prove" good outcomes always stop at like 3 years and you can see in the chart that the deaths number starts to kick in at about 7 years and then falls off a cliff at 10 years .
