The cultural part is weird because boomers were able to easily afford college if they wanted to go so their kids who ended up being gen Y and Gen Z were fed information based on their parents' experience. It was basically like "go to college and get the degree so you can have any job you want." The message was never "you need to work hard at certain degrees so you can get a good job." Many of these kids were just funneled into this pipeline of high school to university with no guidance on needing to get something like a STEM degree. The expectation from their parents was you could major in basically anything and the degree itself made you more desirable in the job market. This made sense for boomers because most jobs just asked for a high school diploma and if you showed up with a BA in English it would impress employers. Now the market is so oversaturated with shit degrees that you can barely get a job if you don't have a degree at a minimum.

This also benefits big corporations because if they hire a workforce of debt slaves then their employees can't risk getting fired by threatening to quit or unionize for better wages.

It's amazing the things rich people have done throughout history in terms of not giving a shit about human lives like this idea of castrating boys so that they could sing in an opera later on. Now the whole trans thing is very popular among certain "commoners" but this got me thinking.

There's this concept of the "temporarily embarrassed millionaire" where poor people will go berserk defending policies which benefit very rich people. Like the way a person making $40k will be defending the estate tax like they have a personal stake in the argument. It's like a class delusion. The poor's think they are aligned with the rich when in reality they will never be rich and the actual rich class will throw the poor's under the bus for the slightest reason.

I'm feeling something similar with the whole TRA movement. The people who generally go all in are university educated but also suffering crushing debt after being conned into attending and taking out gigantic loans as an 18 yr old. The rich can afford to go major in feminist basket weaving as a meme just to get the social experience then go take an undeserved job making millions while doing no actual work. The poors go in and take these bullshit majors seriously. They are doing the steps to live in the upper social hierarchy but have no connections. They have this ultra wealthy mindset of being able to do crazy things to themselves and other people's bodies with no consequence but their entire existence is a consequence.

That's interesting that she became associated with the HRC. I hadn't heard that before but it makes sense. After gay marriage was legalized these groups became so desperate for relevance. Even small organizations like at my university LGBT center if you said anything a bit outside of "heteronormativity" the staff would suddenly be interested in you and start pressing questions about how you feel about your "identity". They started out interested in me but quickly hated me being around because i rejected gender identity as a concept. I can see though how certain people could get wrapped up in their questions.

Once they got us into a discussion about being attracted to our straight friends and some people make comments like "i wish they were gay so we could date" but i always respond to that saying I don't wish that upon people because it inherently makes their life more difficult ( back then anyway) and also just as relevant is i assume my hot straight friends still probably wouldn't date me because they would be out of my league either way. So I made the offhand comment that if anything if i kept my brain exactly the same and magic were involved, me being in a female body would be the easiest outcome because there would be so many straight guys to date in comparison. That opened up a whole can of worms with like 3 staff members opening up every hatch they could find to try and shunt me into a trans pipeline. It's actually a troubling statistic that the percentage of men in college total has fallen so dramatically, however the stat might not be as bad as it seems if you look at STEM majors. The nagging sociology majors still seem to be obsessed with attacking STEM majors as inherently sexist because so few women take up those majors. I used to think it was just them being dumb and lazy but now I'm wondering if there is another motive. The existence of STEM shows how useless their postmodern sociology majors are by contrast so it's not that they want more women in STEM, it's that they want to attack the very basis of science because those majors still require lots of hard work and logical thinking skills. That means destroying STEM entirely to insert an ideological version of the same majors which might better favor lazy students who want to write opinions instead of learning how things actually work. First of all, this whole changing of vocabulary around "intersex" to "difference in sexual development". It's obviously meant to be manipulative to describe it that way. They insist on this framing that people are "assigned" male or female "at birth" and so this person who is likely intersex got assigned female INCORRECTLY because the doctor probably just looked at the lack of penis and testes. Then because the person never "transitioned" these people keep saying "she is a cisgender woman" because on this other planet their minds live on, all that matters is the "self ID".

It's such a weird turn of events all at once. Intersex no longer exists. She just developed differently. Whoever marked the birth certificate etc didn't know or didn't realize that intersex was a thing. Because the doctor made a mistake on the paperwork, that means the person is now "cisgender female" because they never tried to transition (assuming the person even knew what transgender was before this).

Whenever this topic comes up i want to give a caveat about gay culture before gay rights become a thing and before the TQ+ took it over into a form of exhibitionism.

As recently as the 90s and early 00s it could still be extremely dangerous to be a teenager and be outed as gay. This social opinion flipped on its head extremely quickly in the 00s and it's often overlooked now, especially if you came of age as gay marriage was being legalized or after that time frame.

In some places in the US there was a real fear of being beaten to death just because you got outed in public (Matthew Shepherd). Some religious families would kick their kids out of the house suddenly before 18. Often the only solution these kids had was to find an older gay man to take them in. These relationships were inherently predatory but preferable to dieing in the streets. It was a "solution" which rewarded this behavior but it also saved many teenagers. Fast forward gay acceptance has become mainstream even in most religious families within the span of a few years and this situation is no longer necessary. The gay people who fought the legal system made this possible. Then the TQ people come in and are upset that the gays are "normalizing" and so now we have them trying to use that emergency solution and claim it's part of their culture when the gays as a whole fought to normalize us existing so we could stop living like that.

That post seems pretty rational if that hypothetical situation where a person "has never acted on their attractions" was possible... However that type of person would likely just never admit it out loud. If you know the person is a pedo then they likely did something in the past that forced them to register or tell you. There's a ton of dumb facts with this case.

Hunter isn't Joe and this particular case in no way implicates Joe of anything, however it's extremely noteworthy that the DOJ chose this particular case to go after Hunter.

The DOJ normally would be unlikely to go after someone given the fact of the case which are: Hunter was an addict at the time. The gun which was purchased was not used to commit a separate crime. Hunter is now supposedly "sober". However they chose to go after him on this one thing which is the one crime which can't simultaneously implicate Joe in anything. For this paperwork crime the prosecutor then tried to grant Hunter sweeping immunity for all his unrelated and far more serious crimes. The immunity was so outrageous that the judge stopped the proceeding and had to ask wtf the prosecutor was doing.

All of those other things including the tax fraud, if looked into could reveal massive corruption between Hunter and Joe through the discovery process. Hunter was somehow involved with suspicious transactions with Ukraine, China, and African countries. Also remember that Trump's first impeachment was based around him pausing a weapons shipment to Ukraine with something related to questions about the corruption related to Hunter's involvement in the country. This was prior to Russia's invasion when Ukraine was shelling its own population in the east.

The DOJ has been slow walking all of Hunter's tax cases for years such that they are going past the statute of limitations.

OPs title is a bit dumb because this Hunter Biden conviction proves nothing about "law-abiding Democrats" buuuut that's also part of the point of the DOJ making a big issue about this case. It's a bait and switch so now they don't look into anything else and Joe gets to walk away with no ties to criminality and if you challenge the situation they will point at the case to claim they already did something and it's over.

Idk about trying to directly translate the meaning of Japanese words but I've seen enough anime to know how they treat the whole gender thing. In the past those types of characters would way more easily be considered a "trap" in the English context. At this point though I'm not even sure if TRAs have deemed "trap" to be phobic or not. Usually the character would be dressed as the opposite sex but not particularly trying to pretend that they were.

I hadn't even thought about the idea that the character was transified for a western audience but it makes sense and they are doing it to existing characters. In Cowboy Bebop there's a male character who basically had human chemical experiments done to him while in prison and developed breasts due to the drugs he was given to calm him down. By the time the live action came out people were just outright claiming the character to be "nonbinary" as if it were a fact.

Then in like Naruto which is more a kids show they have Haku who fully dresses in female clothing and lets people think he's a girl then waits till the end and goes "by the way I'm a boy" just seemingly to get the reaction... That sounds like a trap if ever I've seen one lol ..
