The Yellow Vests were regularly ignored and misrepresented by the media, so it's no surprise that there is a lot of confusion about their intentions. Originally they were protesting about how a large part of taxes were falling on the working and middle class French workers. They called for lower fuel taxes, higher minimum wage, among other things. They also stood against the Covid pass system and mandatory vaccinations, a far cry from the BLM movement.

Ironically, people are allowed to say all manner of disrespectful things against the Most High and the government does nothing to defend his honor. That is also a sign of the end of civilization as we knew it.

There have been all manner of laws throughout history mandating or prohibiting the worship and praise of various deities, some being very brutal. Ideally people should be able to speak freely and worship as they choose. Government inevitably becomes corrupt, so they be kept out of religion and allow people to make their own choices.
