I don't remember you being that fat, jet. Don't go wild.

I never thought I'd say this phrase, but... Jason is right. If you lose weight too quickly past the age of like 35, you'll have a bunch of loose, saggy skin which is gross and kinda defeats the purpose if you want to lose weight (in part) to be hot. Plus you won't feel light and free like that.

If you're drinking ANY drinks with any added sugar, stop. Soda, lemonade, tea with sugar, all of it. Switch to unsweetened seltzers and herbal teas like chamomile and peppermint.

Are you on any medication right now? Medicines like hormonal birth control can and will make you fat since hormones control and coordinate the body's metabolism. Even fucking with just the sex hormones goofs everything up. I forget how old you are which would also help me tailor my advice.

But honestly the real secret to losing weight is adderall. Especially if you have low blood pressure and you're depressed. It was a game-changer for me, but came with the unfortunate side effect of turning me from skinny to skeletal. I am never hungry. I can only stomach one meal a day and drink meal replacement shakes to try and supplement.

You don't have to quit porn 100%. It's normal and it only becomes a problem when it's consuming your life. Trying to stop jerking off is retarded because the urge will become all-consuming and you'll want to kill yourself every time you cave. It's natural to jerk off. This kind of addiction is similar to food addiction in that you can't just quit cold-turkey.

Just cut down on the time you spend doing it. A good goal is once a day or every other day for a few minutes instead of hours. It might also help to look at still images of just hot naked chicks so you exercise your imagination a little more, especially if you're becoming really rigid in your preferences.

As far as loneliness and internet use, I need more information to tailor my advice. I skimmed your profile and I have no idea how old you are or what you do for work, if anything. I can give you a few generic tips.

You need to go outside. Go on a 15 minute walk every day and enjoy the mental silence of not reading words. Take in a deep breath of fresh air and sigh, and congratulate yourself for putting in the effort and successfully completing one task: to go outside for a walk. A lot of people want to do it, but don't make it. Even if it seems like a small accomplishment, there are always people accomplishing less.

If there is a park nearby, you can practice the easiest form of small talk known to humankind: chatting to someone with a dog about their dog. "Hi, is your dog friendly? Can I pet him? What breed is he?" and if you're feeling nervous and it looks like the person wants to get going, you can keep the interaction short and tell them to have a great day and keep moving. As you get more comfortable talking to other people, you can start making the conversations longer by asking people about themselves after the chat about the dog.

You know Dennster, depending on your level of functioning and your living situation, you might benefit from getting yourself a little companion dog. You'd have to get up and take it for walks and see the sun every once in a while, and when you're home, you could have someone to hang out with. Fenced, off-leash dog parks are the easiest place on earth to socialize and they're separated by weight, so you could safely let your small dog loose and chill on a bench. Other people will be there doing the same. You always have a topic to go back to (dogs), and you can get to know people who are also there to chill on a bench and socialize with other people while their dog socializes with other dogs.

If you're in school, join one or more clubs. If not, look for some local hobby groups to join. Meetup.com has a lot of good events. If your town is too small for that, talk to the City Hall about upcoming events and groups.

Do you have a regular barber? Practice talking with him and tell him you're trying to branch out socially and ask him for recommendations. He knows a lot of people. And if it's a small town, he knows everyone. If you don't have a regular barber... you would probably look a lot better with a nice haircut my mans.

These events will usually let whites in anyway. Admittedly I only skimmed the article, but there are plenty of race-based clubs and larger organizations that are "for" the indicated race, but still let in whites who are brave/retarded/friendly enough to join or show up anyway. I've been at a conference like that and I'm currently in that type of club which is a chapter of a larger organization that is also race-based. Usually they emphasize that whites and non-[insert race] people are allowed too so they can avoid this kind of thing.

Looks like these guys did an oopsie by not saying that and now outrage has officially been provoked. It really doesn't need to be this dramatic. You apply online for most of it so it's not like they see what you look like, and it's illegal for them to deny you for your race anyway.

The liver filters toxins from the bloodstream, so presumably anything that enters the bloodstream will be processed by the liver.

A small, exclusive lecture was held at my school where a chemical engineer and cannabinoid researcher with several farms came to talk to us about cannabinoids and cannabinoid processing. It takes similarly high doses of CBD and ibuprofen to damage the liver. You're not going to experience liver damage from 50mg of ibuprofen or CBD. This article is decent.

If you don't OD yourself on either, you're going to be fine. My point was that CBD is mostly a placebo (especially the "feeling of calmness") and not a magic drug that cures every disease. Other cannabinoids have much more potential and should be researched further.

CBD has the same effects as ibuprofen, and damages your liver slightly more.

Other effects are placebo or industry lies because the U.S. wasted half the land alotted for hemp plants on growing CBD instead of strains that make good industrial fiber, so now they have to make SURE it sells.

for cross sex hormones, you need to know where the psychological gender is going to lie

Alright so it's okay to give cross-sex hormones to a child as long as you know "where the psychological gender is going to lie". What exactly is a "psychological gender" and how do you determine "where it lies"?

Puberty blockers allow the decision to be delayed until the diagnosis is certain. Many cases of gender dysphoria resolve on their own, and transitioning should be avoided until it's clear that it has to be treated.

Most cases of gender dysphoria resolve themselves unless the child is given puberty blockers, in which case the vast majority of them go on to fully medically transition.

(Bone density loss is not reversible.)[https://www.statnews.com/2017/02/02/lupron-puberty-children-health-problems/]

Adults who take lupron report cognitive dysfunction and show an increased risk of Alzheimer's.

I'll be here when a study comes out comparing it to a control group which proves it's safe. GnRH analogues are serious drugs and they're being used off-label. Wake me up when the FDA approves them for this use, and then we can talk more about the suffering that people who used it when it was actually approved.

The fact that you say it's reversible with no side effects is laughable because the data says otherwise for all other use-cases, and there is no long-term data for this specific use-case, nor were there ever even any clinical trials.

How many people of each study do you claim dropped out by suicide?

How am I supposed to know how many dropped out due to suicide? The point is that we don't know because the researchers never followed up. It could be ALL of them (unlikely). You won't even admit that we can't be sure.

Consider this study which shows that people who have undergone SRS are 20x more likely than the general population to commit suicide.

Then we can discuss the proportion of those we could plausibly attribute to regret, and what impact that would have on the regret proportion.

What? You want to make up some random story, guess all the percentages, and then make up some explanation to justify the percentages we guessed at? This is starting to sound like the conspiracy theorists here.

I'll come back to respond to the rest. It's annoying how you have done no research and just cite the same 2 or 3 studies and completely ignore any problems with them. It's interesting how you're hyper-critical of things like anti-vax conspiracies (for good reason) but then once it comes to something you feel like a good virtuous "liberal" for supporting (transitioning minors), suddenly you're uncritical.

I just wanted to respond to this really quick:

What's your interest in transsexual focused reality TV?

Lol... what? Do you have a response to what I told you or not? You're just going to imply I'm some kind of weirdo for watching the show and ignore all the content.

How can you explain your lack of interest and subsequent knowledge, yet vehement defense of your uninformed views on the subject?

Look into the lives of other famous "trans kids" and you'll see the same thing. I forget his name, but there was some famous trans kid model whose family was even more blatant and admitted to beating him with a belt for "being a faggot" before they learned that "God put a girl's soul in a boy's body".

Did you watch all 8 seasons?

I might go back at some point and pirate the rest, but about half the episodes in each season are free on the website for the provider that airs it. So I've seen about 50% of the entire show, some from all seasons.

Surprise surprise ActuallyNot, there's nothing wrong with masculine females or feminine males. There's nothing that needs to be "cured". They don't need to change themselves. Treat your kid "like a boy" if it's a dysphoric female, and "like a girl" if it's a dysphoric male. But don't pretend they actually are some straight, masculine male or straight, feminine female with some "birth defect" or try and physically change their bodies because it's so unfathomable to you that some people are simply born that way and don't need to be mutilated and given hormone treatments to assimilate with everyone else.

I'm guessing you also defend doctors making the choice to surgically "assign a gender" (yes, that's where the term was co-opted from) to babies with ambiguous genitalia when nothing is genuinely wrong with them and their health is fine.

That operation is prohibitively expensive for most Americans.

Good. It's the most horrific of any other transition procedure by far, with some studies reporting up to a 70% complication rate, and no studies reporting under 20%. You will most likely lose at least some sexual function (the antiandrogens MTFs take cause them to lose their sex drive anyway, many say this is a blessing after the surgery), and you can lose your ability to even urinate properly or die of a horrific infection.

No, you're quite wrong about that.

Where'd you get that idea? Your imagination? Gays and lesbians have gender dysphoria. Apparently this isn't common knowledge for straight people. You could try reading James Cantor's research. You know "trans brains?" The brains of all gays and dykes are "inverted" in that way. Yes, even when they're not transsexuals. You'll also notice that in heterosexual transsexuals, their brains do not show this inversion. And you'll also notice that the heterosexual transsexuals transition much later in life for a variety of reasons, and it's dykes and gays who have dysphoria since birth.

That's right. But gender affirmation, including living as and presenting as the other sex does improve the well-being of people with gender dysphoria.

Actually pretending inhibits their ability to accept their own bodies because it strengthens the association between sex and gender, causing gender dysphoria to be more severe and persist for longer.

Where are you getting these details about Jazz's surgeries?

From Jazz's literal mouth because he and his whole family participate in a reality show about his pain ever since they had that one viral youtube video where he's 3 years old and wearing a girls' swimsuit and talking about how he's so happy he's a girl now. His family wouldn't just let him wear a fucking rainbow swimsuit without forcing him to try and become a straight girl.

His father admits that he would regularly scream and lose his shit at 3-year-old Jazz for playing dress-up and being too feminine in general, especially when he wanted to wear dresses outside the house. His parents almost divorced because of what a raging piece of shit he was, but his mom still clearly agreed on some level because she believed that femininity in her male child was a sign of some deep psychological disturbance and she found an easy solution on an internet forum.

There is a picture online of Jazz's father holding him at school when he's wearing a princess dress (some father's day event) barely able to contain the deep level of disgust he has for his own child which turns his attempt at a smile into a sneer. He admitted that the morning the photo was taken, he had another screaming meltdown over the fact that his son wanted to wear a dress to school, but this time Jazz's mom convinced him to let him because an internet forum told her he was a little girl trapped in a boy's body, not an irredeemably worthless feminine male.

So yeah, then they made their viral video about how 3-year-old Jazz is truly a girl inside and that's the only reason they let him dress and act a certain way. It blew up and they got so famous they got a reality show out of it.

Now they like to sit around in their little mansion that they bought with the money they got from broadcasting their son's living nightmare and talk about how Jazz's mental and physical health is so fucked up because he doesn't try hard enough and he's mean and he's ungrateful and hey, let's take him roller skating and ziplining even though he's morbidly obese (also isn't it hilarious and disgusting how fat Jazz is? let's ignore the estrogen we put him on) and on his 4th revision surgery because his genitals keep splitting at the seams. Oopsies teehee does he need another revision? Phew because if he left for college and stopped doing the show, mom and dad would have to sell the mansion and move to a condo and her brothers would have to get jobs.

In a shocking moment of self-awareness, Jazz went to a "hypnotherapist" and experienced "past-life regression", where in a "past life" he was a gay boy who was rejected by his family and homeless on the streets.

Jazz's family threw a party to celebrate cutting off his penis when he was 17 years old. Jazz's family tracks his every move (he is 22) and he needs explicit permission to go anywhere. If his phone tracker shows that he is somewhere different, his family shows up to where he is to harass him about "lying".

Jazz's family wants him to stay home and not go to college because he's "not ready" (their wallets aren't ready). Then when Jazz breaks and says he doesn't know if he wants to keep going to college, his family still degrades him for "giving up".

I imagine that the money from the show is legally Jazz's parents' and not his, increasing his dependence on them.

The show mainly features his severe physical and mental health problems.

All of this is public. Most of the show can be found for free on the internet. The show is called "I am Jazz".

They're pretty good at picking it. Transition regret is of the order of 1%.

We already talked about the way those studies don't include people who commit suicide and only include respondents in their data (those who respond are more likely to not have regret). They also discount your data if you no longer identify as transgender. Have you not looked at a detransition study since 2016? Newer surveys show closer to 13%. And in the largest study on detranstioners to date, only 24% of them reported to their clinic that they were detransitioning. And we can reasonably assume that the patients who agreed to participate in this study were far more likely to report their detransition to their clinic instead of continuing to keep their regrets to themselves.

You can generally tell by puberty age if the dysphoria is worsening or will resolve.

Actually kids who get gender dysphoria at the onset of puberty (ROGD) are much more likely to regret it and detransition.

Tom Cruise would have gone under the plastic surgeon's knife a lot more than four times.

Getting your nose tweaked is a lot different from having to get your surgically reconstructed genitals repaired because they split at the seams because puberty blockers prevented you from growing enough tissue for the surgery you wanted.

Trying to sit down or urinate without pain, with sex obviously being out of the question. But luckily puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones have made Jazz unable to experience sexual arousal whatsoever, so who's to say whether it's the surgery or the hormones, and who cares, right? Let's just keep doing it to every little gay boy who wants to wear a dress and has dysphoria because he's gay.

As if there's anyone on planet earth who has never once considered suicide.

Gender dysphoria usually resolves itself on its own and the kids grow up to be gay or dykes.

Not a very good model for the surgery that teens with gender dysphoria would be considering. Did you mean block the rat's puberty and supplement cross-sex hormones, then implant breasts/perform mastectomy?

I meant their whole lives (studying impact at each stage) starting from adolescence, which would include SRS (castration/spaying) at a later age. I don't see why the exact physical surgeries of SRS or mastectomy would need to be recreated outside of their hormonal impact, if that's what we want data on, so a genital reconstruction seems unnecessary, but removing the reproductive organs other than the genitals would elicit a comparable hormonal profile. Mastectomy/implants seems similarly unnecessary for the type of data I'm talking about. Also it sort of seems like a colossal waste of time to perfect the art of rat mastectomy/implants.

Again, I said "long-term effects on development", and most kids who start these treatments continue all the way down the path. But yes, it would also be good to see some studies where they stop all treatment in the rats' lives after puberty and some time on cross-sex hormones.

Yeah. As would we all. We are focused on having a greater proportion of them live through their teens.

Youth with gender dysphoria have been living through their teens fine until this point. They're known as gays and lesbians.

Gender affirmation is presenting as the other gender.

Again, you can "present as the other gender" without pretending you're the other sex. "Presenting as a butch dyke" is the same as "presenting as a boy/man". If parents won't allow their little boy to wear dresses or their little girl to wear boy's clothes and have short hair without a gender dysphoria diagnosis, that's a different problem.

The reason that a child can't consent to sex is because it interferes with their psychological development around sex

Psychological development aside, there isn't enough data to say how early transitioning affects children's physical development, so we can't truly understand the risks.

Surprisingly, they have not even tried rat studies in which they block the rat's puberty and supplement cross-sex hormones, then castrate/spay. I'd like to see some data about the neurological effects, along with the effects on the entire body (are they more prone to other diseases? are they cognitively affected?).

I did see a study where they had rats on lupron for their entire lives, but they studied only whether they were more likely to act more similarly to control rats of the same sex in certain situations.

An adulthood transition is much easier to stop or reverse. I don't understand why transitioning minors is the hill so many liberals want to die on.

The reason that a sufferer of gender dysphoria might want to dress as and present as the other gender is that it does have good outcomes for the child, where the diagnosis is correct.

And further, why can't a parent just let a kid dress masculine/feminine and get a masculine haircut or grow out their hair? How is that considered a step towards transitioning? Plenty of parents of butch dykes have been letting their kids do that and they end up well-adjusted. It's less common for parents to allow their male kids to do the same, but it would allow the child to feel more comfortable if they really want. It seems that "gender non-conformity" is only allowed in the context of transitioning now, and any "gender non-conformity" is considered the first step to transitioning.

I think we should leave it at 18, in part because yes, that's the age of majority for most things (if we're saying "adults can vote", we should keep "adulthood" fairly consistent), and because I think it's developmentally appropriate. The body is mostly done developing (they've been sexually mature for a while and won't be getting much taller), and the brain is developed enough to understand long-term consequences, perhaps not as much as a 25+ year old would, but 18 year olds are generally able to hold a steady job and support themselves financially without crashing and burning because they can budget their time and money decently. Their critical thinking skills are sufficient imo.

Yeah... I think the vast, vast majority of 13 year olds are stupider than me. And they've only seen one presidency where they were even close to being able to pay attention. They sort of saw someone being president from when they were approximately 9yrs old to now 13yrs. They're just lacking so much life experience, knowledge, basic brain development, etc. 13 year olds are learning geometry and freshman-level U.S. history.

There's a better argument for 16, but I still think it's best to set the age around when most of them have graduated high school or will be doing so that year.

It's interesting that you say that considering our generation because I disagree. I don't know many millennials so maybe you're right about that, but my experience is that gen Z is very divided politically, and a good chunk are "libtards" and another good chunk are increasingly radical conservatives. Classical liberals are becoming quite rare, I'd say.

The extremism on both sides is leading many young people to just give up on politics altogether and not care.

But I'd still say I know a lot of severe libtards. One of my middle aged female professors literally identifies as "autismgender" completely seriously and not as a joke. There was dead silence in the class when she "came out" to us. No one laughed. Yeah, she's not gen Z. I think she's probably too old to be a millennial as well.

But gen Z is asked to clap for her stunning bravery. And half of gays and lesbians id as trans or non-binary. Most of the straight students do not, but a good chunk are about to considering the volume of AGP/tranny/furry porn they openly post in the school's discord. I also know a few AGP trannies.

Maybe we have different definitions of "libtard" because the people who screech about"intersectionalism" and "fuck me or you're a racist, white supremacist bigot!!" are rare, but almost no one who isn't a conservative will dare argue with them or do anything except nod, and I think that most people don't think too much about these issues so they're probably thinking "hmm maybe this person has a point" since the ideas are new to them. People who go along with this shit are also libtards in my eyes. And that's pretty much every gen Z straight girl outside the minority of radical Christians who only come to this school to find a husband. Straight guys, I would say less than half take it fairly seriously, but they still exist.

There's really not much pushback, and the people who don't think about it much but just go along with it to be tolerant and not considered "x-phobic" by extremists tend to think everyone who disagrees is alt-right and they'll argue with you on that basis. But if you get them alone, you can get them to almost half-critically think to the point where they're not on your side, but they no longer think you're Hitler reincarnated.

People take this shit very seriously and while I'm always calm, I've been in huge blowout arguments over this where the other person yells and gets hysterical. I made someone cry over this and I was being firm but still respectful, and censoring myself to an insane degree and conceded on so many points that I don't agree with.

The mentality where they really think genocide is happening is deadly serious and real. They hold that fear within them and yet... they think it's so inevitable that there's no point in trying to look respectable at all and present themselves to the general public as anything but clowns. It's a very contentious situation and they will attempt to turn everyone against you socially but it doesn't really work because of how many people think they're a joke. And it's still possible to befriend them at the end of all this, so I wonder if they truly care that much? Or maybe they hope to change my mind and "educate" me.

It's actually fascinating engaging in this in the real world, and more people should try it because the consequences are pretty much nothing as long as you take some care with what you say to what people.

I was able to convince the mom of one of my gay friends to not panic over his desire to transition and to not blindly affirm him but to try and mend their very broken relationship. He hasn't even told her he's gay (though it's beyond obvious) and instead first demanded that she call him by "she/her" pronouns. We met out of coincidence but I was able to do some good.

And maybe we have different views on the trans situation, but it's a complicated issue and at the very least, I was able to get her to stop and think instead of succumbing to either insane side of the issue and becoming radicalized.

I think these are the sort of things that stop me from becoming hopeless enough to not care. It's possible to share your opinions in a controlled way to people irl and actually have sane and productive discussions and arguments.

And from what friends' little siblings tell me about their peers, I would feel pretty uncomfortable about even 16 year olds voting. I think 18 is a good age because even though many don't start living on their own at that age, they're now legally able to.

Sexual conduct involving persons below the domestically prescribed minimum age of consent to sex may be consensual in fact, if not in law.

Well it does only say "sexual conduct involving persons below the domestically prescribed minimum age of consent to sex" and not "sexual conduct involving persons below the domestically prescribed minimum age of consent to sex and persons at or above the domestically prescribed minimum age of consent to sex". Technically the law only refers to persons under the AOC.

The wording should be amended though because you're right that ambiguity does exist.

What the bill actually says is that if your kid runs away and wants to transition, no one is legally obligated to contact you as the parent and inform you of anything including the kid's whereabouts.

It says nothing about facilitating the transition or removing children from homes where they want to transition and the parents won't allow it.

But it could be a precursor to such a law.

In Washington, kids over the age of 13 can receive confidential health care services, including transition-related procedures, covered by their parents' insurance plans without their parents' notification or consent. Such procedures are also covered by Medicaid (for non-Americans: government-funded insurance plan for poor people).

So a 13 year old kid can legally run away from home and get transition-related procedures done and paid for and no one is obligated to notify the parents of any of it.

Alright lol.

Yeah but I don't want to abort every single person who could possibly have a fucked up life. I want their mothers to be able to abort them if they don't want them, and the result will be fewer fucked up people.

People who don't struggle with poverty etc. growing up can still have great character. And such struggles can make the character of the people who suffer therm worse as they are forced to compromise their morals to survive.

Every person who is born into a fucked up situation is not a chrysalis destined to become a butterfly. More likely, they are destined to become a menace to society.

If suffering is so valuable, should we make people suffer more as a character test? Maybe we should make people with elite character by raising them with no family, just a random person who doesn't love them, and sparse food and water? No, that would be bad for their development and they would just turn out fucked up. And all the skills they used to survive in that environment would be useless in the real world.

Lol. Well I didn't get aborted even though it was legal, so I was wanted to some extent.

And if I was aborted ¯_ (ツ)_/¯ that's sort of how it is when you're a fetus. If your mom wants to give you life, you're lucky. If not, raw deal.

That's how it is when you're a helpless parasite in someone's body, as we all once were. I think the idea of having that level of a lack of control is terrifying to a lot of people, and the fear pushes them to feel entitled. No one is entitled to being carefully developed in someone else's body. Consider yourself lucky because you were. As was everyone else who's here to argue this point.

It's genuinely pathetic watching people screech for control over a phase of life that only the mother will ever have control over, no matter what anyone does or legislates. If she's determined enough to not give you life, she could just take a coat hanger to you, take any number of harmful substances, or give birth to you in secret and crack your fragile skull like an egg before you even taste air.

Yet anti-abortion people are trying to punish females who are too nice to do that? Would you rather be killed quickly by some drug before you even have a brain, or would you like to be a fully-formed human infant getting the emerging part of your skull slammed on the corner of some ghetto bathroom countertop? Or getting your neck snapped after feeling the 5 seconds of cold emptiness that is all you've ever experienced in the world?

Everyone, especially people who are anti-abortion, should feel grateful that their own mothers allowed them to live and even took care of them when they were helpless worms. And everyone should consider themselves lucky that most females would much rather take a pill early on to abort an embryo than violently end the life of a fully-formed human infant.

Trying helplessly to pass laws to punish the nice ones who want to make it a quick process and end it early before it can even feel pain* is a pathetic way to try and retroactively regain control over that phase of their lives instead of being grateful for being created and taken care of when they were a parasite and later a worm. And they should be grateful on behalf of humanity that so many females would rather take the merciful route instead of trying to make that harder for them, because the violent option still remains and always will.

There's no way to escape from the fact that the fetus has no control over whether or not it's born and whether or not it's taken care of. And trying to restrict the females who have any mercy in their souls from aborting some cells that could potentially become a human being who walks among us is firstly ungrateful, and secondly is retarded because now they can either end it violently, or have some kid they don't want, refuse to raise it, and then send it in all its illiterate, mouth-breathing glory to wreak havoc on the world around it.

*There's no point in arguing whether a blastocyst can feel pain when scientists can't even agree that fully-formed adult fish can; and again, even if they can, it's nothing compared to the pain a fully-formed human infant would experience being killed, especially considering the psychological factor of it knowing nothing but pain and hate in the short time it experienced the world.

If the NHS didn't ask that to everyone, trannies would slip through the cracks and waste the time and resources it would take to test their blood which would be wasted if he was a tranny who was or has ever been pregnant.

He sounds like he's just personally offended at the suggestion that he could be a tranny.

It would be ideal if transition ended, but they're already here and we're forced to deal with them by asking certain questions which are actually of medical importance. Pretending that roided-up trannies who are or have been pregnant don't go donate blood and check the "male" box, and then feeling personally offended at the questions medical professionals are forced to ask to deal with this is retarded.
