Because they identify as Jews.

Not the non-jewish zionists... of which there are many.

So, it is Jewish Zionism, Christian Zionism

Right, so let's just call them zionists, because that's what they call themselves.

However, we first must DEFINE what Judaism is? Is it an ethnicity, a religion, both or a whole lot of things?

Yes, that's the exact problem. It means 20 different things, so it's important to use much more specific language, and pinpoint actual problem ideologies. This makes the problem actually solvable, instead of it morphing in to a holocaust situation where misdirected anger is put toward scapegoats (which actually ended up benefiting those at the very top during and after WW2). It's very important to use careful terminology, it could be the difference between another holocaust and not having one. The Zionists want nothing more than people hating the Jews (but of course ignoring the Zionists specifically). They can hide in the noise this way.

So I think the latter seems more likely in this case. Given that it's basically proven.

Saying Jews were the majority of the Bolshevik government is true.

Saying "Jews run the Bolshevik government" is not true because it implies all Jews, when it's really just under 1000 people or so, most of whom are Jewish. But they're also white. And they're also men.

But instead of focusing on those secondary characteristics, it seems more relevant to focus on their actual ideology that caused all the problems, bolshevikism

Oh wow so you've changed quite a bit about the backend then.

Our thinking was that even if it's complicated to run on a small server, it's already had 7 years of testing and fixes for a large-scale environment, so if it ever took off we'd be equipped to scale it easily. I think we ended up making things easy on ourselves thankfully.

2GB of RAM is impressive, I think our deployment takes up 3GB minimum. Your 2-server setup is interesting, the design sounds useful so one server can be a dedicated "gatekeeper". Do you use cloudflare or any DDOS protection, or do you do that yourself too?

Our cloudflare servers do a similar thing to your data query system, I think cloudflare actually ends up directly serving about 60% of our data or so, just mirroring what we already have. So it's probably not as robust as yours, but ours also only serves updates in a way. And cloudflare acts as a globally distributed server network. It's pretty good for being free. But it's not open-source, and we do sacrifice a bit of control over our system for the DDOS protection and distributed cached serving. But it seems to have been worth it so far. d3rr just wrote a script to scrape the original (pre-cloudflare) IP addresses from the header information and add those to our DDOS blocking list and ban individual IP addresses. So we've been able to work around the shortcomings.

Thanks. I always figured, what's the point of all this open-source code if no one ever uses it?

Multiple sites with different approaches to tech and policy is itself a form of decentralization even when not mediated by software.

I couldn't agree more. That's why I like notabug and other "competitors" to saidit. Together we form a network that itself is distributed. You're more than welcome to replicate any rules we have here, I think our system has worked out pretty well so far.

Running the reddit instance is tricky at times, but once you get the right OS and configure it correctly, it's doable. It seems to run fine on a small machine. We did have to upgrade from 4GB to 8GB RAM because we were running out of memory. Mostly due to the cassandra memory management system that keeps everything in RAM. Have you worked with this?

I'm glad you like the no-downvote system too. It also allows filtering by fun vs insightful vote types, which will be useful when cat pictures inevitably take over the website. Haha.

It's still possible that it's just a troll, but realistically the distinction between legit vs fake DMCA does not matter if the server company itself deems it actionable.

Yes exactly. And I don't know what our server company's vetting process is for DMCA requests, but I imagine they've seen their fair share of DMCA trolls if they run a huge server farm. So if they've decided it's real, and are willing to shut us down as a paying customer over that, they've obviously not made the decision lightly. I'm not very keen on trying to dispute that, and everything that may entail.

I didn't shut down the sub, I made it private and deleted everything in it, instead of just outright banning it. I tried my best. I don't know what else I can do. I had to take action on all 20 of those links and then write a report back to them explaining how I took action to resolve the issue. All 20 were in the same sub, that sub posts streams all day... what else could I have done that would've been better? Seriously, I'm asking...

All in all, it's a reasonable request that we can't really legally dispute, and thus we have no option with our current hosting situation in Dallas but to remove the offending content. I did it in the lightest way I could think of but that shows we had addressed the problem in full. I had to take action or else the entire rest of the site was in jeopardy.

I can run a server. That's not the problem.

Distributed servers means the legal responsibility is not placed on one person. As it is, the server can get shut down by the server company. If I run my own server, I can go to jail and they can trace my IP, if I do not shut down the things in the DMCA request.

Distributed computing however means that no one is tied to the server, as there is no single server or single owner, but instead dozens or hundreds. That changes the legal dynamics considerably. But the software for making this happen may or may not even exist yet and is extremely complex. It's right on the edge of being doable.

We were given 96 hours to delete them or the saidit server gets shut down. I do not think it was heavy-handed. I wish we had truly distributed servers so that deleting content could not be forced, but as it is we intent to comply with the laws of the place where the server is, which is currently Dallas, Texas, USA. So if we get DMCA notices we have to comply.

Actually the terms of service of our server say that if we do not comply with the DMCA request, the server company will take us offline. It's like "zero tolerance policy" but for servers, they're basically forced to force DMCA compliance

Who stands to gain the most of the tankers bombings? by dark_devil_dd in conspiracy

[–]magnora7 7 insightful - 2 fun7 insightful - 1 fun8 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

People who want the US to attack Iran, such as Israel.

The same Israel that also wanted the US to invade Iraq, and Syria, and Afghanistan, thus surrounding Iran.

The same Israel that attacked the US's ship, the USS Liberty in a false flag to goad the US in to war.

So I guess I think Israel or one of their war agencies did it. Either that or some other branch of the western military-industrial complex. Who else would want the US to attack Iran so badly?

Why would Iran blow up one random oil tanker? It has no reason to. It got overthrown in 1953, it knows how things can go bad from attacking others in the region. This makes about as much sense as Assad gassing his own people in Syria, as the war is winding down. It doesn't make any sense at all. It's a pretext to justify a war. Who else would want to create that pretext except one who would greatly benefit from the US invading Iran? At the bare minimum one can assume they're part of the western military-industrial-banking complex. Might be Israel, might be the US, and there's a slim chance it might've actually been Iran. Either way, it seems like an attempt to stir up a war (and also maybe jack up oil prices too)

Trump says ready to hold talks with Iran despite tanker attacks by magnora7 in WorldPolitics

[–]magnora7[S] 3 insightful - 2 fun3 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

Trump walks that pro-zionist/anti-zionist line so carefully, it's kind of impressive.

First he's willing to hold talks, doesn't want to close any channels. Seemingly anti-zionist agenda, not feeding in to the Iran-war narrative.

But then right at the end of the article:

“Iran did do it,” Trump told Fox. “It’s essentially got Iran written all over it... I guess they didn’t want the evidence left behind.”

I wonder if this is from his informers. Where is he getting this information.

And I guess there is a very tiny chance it is truly the actions of Iran. However they'd be absolutely suicidal to do something like this, and they know it, and their last 40 years of history shows they know doing something like this is just asking to be invaded and have their government overthrown by the US like it was in 1953. So they wouldn't do this. Just like Assad wouldn't gas his own people. Like they tried to convince us of on 3 separate occasions to justify an invasion in to Syria.

Seems 95% likely to be a false flag. But I find how Trump is walking the line to be interesting. Like "yes, they did it" (which they probably didn't) but then also "I don't care, lets talk about this instead of go to war" (which is NOT what the people making the false flag want, they want a military reaction)

All in all, interesting situation. Probably will turn out to be nothing if cooler heads prevail. I think a lot of people see this as a false flag from a million miles away. People are getting wise to that trick.

all of his political opponents (that opposed the creation of the "federal reserve") to the inaugural trip of his new ship the Titantic.

Interesting, I didn't realize JP Morgan owned the Titanic. I have heard the theory that it was used to get rid of certain powerful people that opposed the Federal Reserve, though.

Most of the most powerful bankers are Jews. But most Jews are not powerful bankers. This is an important distinction that sometimes gets lost. The problem is the bankers, not the Jews.

The Federal Reserve, the EU Central Bank and the Bank of England are controlled by apprentices of the Jesuits. by HibikiBlack in conspiracy

This is the crux of the thing... I'll admit the Jesuits have a lot of influence, but I never notice the Jesuit people talking about the Rothschilds, which seems a glaring omission from otherwise well-researched posts.

Interesting post, but you neglected to mention how the whole thing was funded by JP Morgan's bank, which is a Rothschild-owned bank. JP Morgan also designed the federal reserve. His grandfather George Peabody ran one of the largest London international trade organizations, who got their funding from the Rothschilds.

It really has a lot more to do with big money that happens to be owned by a small number of Jews, rather than "the Jews" writ large as your title implies.

YouTube removes Project Veritas video on Pinterest’s ‘censorship of conservative views’ by fred_red_beans in censorship

I am still dumbfounded how the Project Veritas videos from 2016 didn't have more an effect. High level DNC leaders admitting on camera that they bus in people for rallies to give the appearance of popularity. I thought people just ignored what was a huge bombshell. Kind of like the Panama Papers. There was a lot of noise, then it all stopped and nothing happened as if no one cared in the first place. It still bothers me how that went down. And I know they made that stupid Acorn video where he dressed up like a pimp, but you can't fake prominent DNC people admitting things on camera... (well at least not for now)

[–]magnora7 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Well I guess the main point would be that the ideologies and motivations that created Lenin's Russia still exist to this day, and might be re-creating this trajectory in other governments.

Bolsheviks should be blamed though, not Jews. Because the overwhelming majority of Jews are not Bolsheviks.

However the overwhelming majority of high-level Bolsheviks are Jews, which itself is interesting.

But again, this is a condemnation of Bolsheviks, not Jews, because most Jews are not Bolsheviks. And I really don't like it when people try to "Blame the Jews" because it's a huge category. It's like blaming "white people" for USSR. It's much too broad and doesn't really actually get at anything useful.

There's a reason the military goals of the CIA align exactly with the corporate goals of the Rothschilds and Genie Energy, and Genel Energy. Jesuits seem to be useful puppets more than the actual controllers.

The initators of that next big war musn't be afraid of truth-spreaders, they know those will all be dead after war, they became oh-so-easy targets since they all put their data into the internet, they even did so at free will.

That's why if the war never starts, it puts the MIC at a disadvantage. They have to force war, and if it's too unpopular it doesn't happen. So they're trying to create the social conditions to make people accept war, so then they can do what they want with impunity.

Media is free to sell influence as long as they disclose and are not breaking laws, because then a big part of the responsibility falls on the viewers and listeners to discern good content from bad content.

Hitler's genocide was perfectly legal too. Doesn't make it morally acceptable. This is a bit blaming the victim, but viewers do have some responsibility too.

To summarize this, the people who get the most "programmed" are the ones who are most likely to be fans of whatever content they consume.

I agree, but are those people even capable of realizing they're being lied to if they're so deeply entrenched? There's about 25%-35% of Americans that will believe literally anything the TV tells them. I'd rather blame the pied piper than the children who follow the pied piper.
