Never Stop using force until your attacker stops moving. That is rule 5.

When attacked:you should:

1. Always know your exits, make sure you can access them quicky.. If someone stands between you and an exit, move before you need it.

2. Always carry a knife (acessible quickly), have any other weapons or tools that may be necessary and legal in your locality. Do not make them readily available or reachable to a potential threat.

3. Never fight, when you can run to safety. Do not turn your back on an assailant. Do not turn your back on any other person when in a dangerous position. A back against the wall, is a back that cannot be approached. Keep your exit available at all times, at all times.

4. Be in a position to counter attack before the assailant can finish attacking you. Be aware of what's around you. Keep egress and infiltration routes available to meet a threat with room to move your feet. Swing first.

Swing second= sometimes you die.

1. Never stop fighting untill your assailant stops moving. If your assailant/s are still a viable threat, you are not done defending yourself.
