pretty much. they act like the only kids that are being bullied are lgbt/queer. if you're fat, you'll be buillied. poor? bullied. ugly? bullied. wear clothes someone find ugly? bullied. it's sad, but bully doesn't just stop at or only target one group and teenage girls are the worst in my experience in high school. constantly shoving lgbt acceptance lessons down kids throats wont help the problem, i feel it will just make it worse because the kids are going to get sick of them. i know this because we had similar lessons when i was in school years ago. it was anti gay bullying. most kids at school had no problem with gay students, but teachers would make us write essays and even poetry (yes really) about gay acceptance. it didn't blow over well, even i was annoyed and sick of it.

a few years ago there was a show called "Duck Dynasty" and one of the cast members made comments about gay men saying "why would you want another man's ass-hole when a vagina is much better" people lost it and wanted the show cancelled, yet when transmen basically say the same thing everyone either agrees or turns a blind eye. trans people love saying how oppressed they are yet they can get away with homophobic, misogynistic and racists comments and if you call them out you are accused of being a transphobic.

lol, that's the thing, it is a new trend. i had never heard the phrase "non-binary lesbian" or "genderqueer" until maybe two years ago, never saw it on anyone's profile and now out of the blue i have seen them pop up on mostly male and straight women profiles. they create all these new identities and act like their new identity has been around since the dawn of time and if that doesn't work they'll just add that identity to some poor dead person.

it kind of reminds me on the final days of the Jonestown cult when they allowed the press and others in to video tape them to show off their "perfect" life, only to see that their own members were jumping ship and asking to leave. Jones, after seeing this then began going on rants about how the government would be coming after them to kill them and trying to convince his followers that the government would never let them live in peace and the only way out was through death. The TRA's are starting to see people jump ship and now they are struggling to keep people in line and are reduced to scaring their members into believing the government is going to round them up to kill them.

I remember watching an old video of a female preacher telling her church that gay men and butch lesbians should get together since butch lesbians "look like men" and they could "learn" to overcome their sinful ways and lead a straight christian life. the comments of course were against this women, yet when the "queer" community tries the same thing it's seen as "progressive".

whenever i see them online showing off their dyed hair or really short hair they act like it's this revolutionary thing, like no one in the 80's and 90's wasn't doing this. you can watch videos from the past where guys have on eyeliner and long hair. women also got into the dyed hair craze in the late 80's and 90's. hell, even back in the 50's women had very short hair like men. every photo album i went through of my grandparents my grandma and great grandma had really short hair all their lives, my great grandma dyed her hair light blue just to do something different in the 70's.

I remember reading an article suggesting women need to try more one night stands to "find themselves sexually". it was written by a woman who couldn't understand why more men were up for one night stands than women. it's like she couldn't understand that not all women want to hook up with someone they just met and take a chance of ending up as a victim on a true crime show. while there's nothing wrong with people who do hook up, trying to tell young people that in order to find themselves they need to sleep with strangers is just wrong. as you said, we went from sex positive to trying to tell people what they need to be do with their sex life.

I use to read manga and watch anime as a teen but after awhile it just became creepy. some may say "oh it's just a comic, it's not hurting anyone" but alot of these manga stories are read by teens and young adults and it feels like their grooming young people into thinking abusive relationships are "cute" or that the abuser is just "misunderstood and needs love" and trying to normal things that shouldn't be normalized. I use to read yuri and at first they were cute stories, but then i would see popular recommendations and many of the stories had to do with a young school girl being verbally and emotionally abused by a older woman (adult/child relationship are also common) and it was see as a love story because the school girl would make the abuser fall in love with her and the abuse would stop. another thing i noticed was heavy incest. like, 50% of the new manga i would see was sister sexual relationships. not step-sisters (which is still weird) actual sisters. and like you said, the comments were always positive, like, how can you praise a story about a 13 girl being pursued by a 20 something woman who wants to sleep with her? that's not cute that's rapey. or fawn over a character who abuses her gf.

I remember being a teen and thinking i knew better than every adult, that i knew how the world really worked but the difference is i didn't have the internet and grew out of it and grew up. yes the internet was around but we couldn't afford a computer plus the internet cost. now days, teens can go online and find groups that egg them on and who feel like their opinions are the only right ones and therefor the only ones that matter and everyone (mainly adults) are wrong and stuck in the past. they then can create a large network of other tweens and 20 year olds who can gang up on and bully those who commit "wrong think". A confused teen who suffers from autism can easily find websites that tell them their trans just because they like a certain cartoon or color, or convince gay teens their trans because of a sexist stereotype. it's no wonder why so many teens are coming out as trans/NB

your point reminds me of my history teacher. when we were learning about nazi germany we couldn't believe how so many German's went along with it and a week later he came in and began talking about how the government lied about the moon landing and how the earth was flat, we were confused and when a student challenged his opinions he doubled down and even insulted her intelligence and nobody else questioned him.

the last decade has just been like the twilight zone. it wasn't long ago lady gaga's song "born this way" came out and the left was praising it while the conservatives still believed being gay was a choice. within the last few years i have seen some hard core conservatives online post pics with their gay children and their children's same sex partners and seeing members on the liberal side talking about how only being same sex attracted is a "genital fetish" and shaming gays and lesbians for being well, gays and lesbians. i live in a southern state and there have been churches during pride month who post things like "God loves all his children, he doesn't make mistakes so don't hate" in support of the gay and lesbian community. i know many conservatives still hate the gay community, but it's still shocking to see how much the left has turned into the right when it comes to bullying us, instead of yelling that we're going to hell, their yelling we're bigots because we won't sleep with trans people.

I believe so. A young teen girl had posted on reddit detrans that she hated when she developed breast in middle school because the boys would make rude and sexually jokes. She also said that she hated having her period (what girl/woman enjoys it?). She enjoyed "boy activities" such as sports and hated anything "girly" like makeup. She began following trans and NB people on tumblr who basically told her that she was trans because she liked sports, hated girly clothes and hated having her breasts (even though this was because of unwanted attention from boys), she also had attraction to girls and of course the homophobes told her that she was really a straight guy. Many of the female reddit commentors shared the same story in the comments about hating getting their breast and periods as well as being told online that this was a symptom of gender dysphoria and therefor they were trans.

there were a couple of male celebs who stood up for her and they didn't receive the same hate as her (mostly calling them transphobic pricks). when she was posting about her new children's book a couple of months ago and asking for parents to submit their kids drawing, there were comments of rape threats and threats of assault. I mean, people wrote that she deserved to be raped and hope she get's her teeth stomped out underneath a child's drawing. I remember something like this on reddits gender critical. a trans woman had begged for donations for surgery, received it and then like a year later was asking for money to fund the SAME surgery they had asked for donations a year ago. some people caught on and called him out for getting all this money and not having surgery and then asking for more money. i believe he tried to excuse it by claiming he used the first donations for "gender affirming clothes".

it's like when transmen date each other yet still refer to themselves as gay men, i mean, you'd think one of them would see that their lesbians. In the woke days we live in gay men are in lesbian relationships, men are now lesbians, lesbians are now gay men and words seem to be meaningless.

I read something last year about mother's day being non inclusive to trans women who are "mothers" and one woman wrote "My mother died so mother's day is difficult but I don't demand stores and people stop buying and selling mother's day cards and flowers because people like me lost their mothers". Why should we have to change a day that celebrates mother's because some men and "non binary" woman are unhappy with the word? why don't they ask for their own day, make it "parent day". But no, they want to take something from women.
